Yeah, I definitely need this group -- mainly to help me get through night shift. I find that around 2-4AM I am exhausted and I lose all self-control to not eat something that is lying around and looks/sounds tasty. The past two nights have been very rough and I binge on some cookies and dessert-type food.

Tonight is a new night though. Plan to be better. I think NOT eating after midnight will really help me stay on-track with the diet plan and not indulge in sweets.

Feel free to add me.

I find it is always worse if I stay up late at night. When tired, the control just seems to disappear. Either just replace the food with some nice hot teas or make sure you have healthy things with you like carrot, apple, cottage cheese, rice cakes and such things. Not quite as appealing as cookies, true, but they will give you something to chew on with some decent nutrition.

I had my coworker lock the sweets in his desk before he left for the night.

And I'm going to try coffee/tea tonight -- although without sugar in them, that's really the kicker....I've been craving more sugar as of late [for whatever reason], and typically after I eat a meal.

I do too, and I have a piece or two of dark chocolate(74% +) to solve that issue, or a healthy dessert of berries with greek yoghurt.

what really helps me sometimes is to chew on sugar-free gum. Trident and Orbit have some pretty yummy flavors... it's not quite the same but it can give you something to chew for a long time.
