I love grilled cheese but i wanted a lower calorie more filling version so here is my spin
2 slices high fiber low calorie bread (100 calories to 130 or less for 2 slices)
2% milk fat shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp real butter
put half the butter is a non skillet and let melt and drop in 1 slice of the bread top with about 1/4 cup of the cheese top with 2 nd slice flip when golden but add the butter when you go to flip so the other side browns.
I served mine with dill pickle, sliced tomatoes with a little salt and pepper on them and small 1/2 cup of tomato soup I made from scratch (will post recipe)

I like aunt Milly's light bread or Weight Watchers has a light bread (i personally think the ww is not great)their is one here that is just called high fiber with flaxseed(this is the kind I like to get) i like I get it at Walmart, ,Light Italian bread is usually good ,Nature's own and Arnold's also has a light bread. both which are good.I also like the sandwich thins and Thomas thin bagels and 100 multigrain English muffins0
