    Good morning everyone!

I am up early this morning, working 8-5 today. After today I don't have any work booked, but I am sure that will change. Not sure if today will be a rest day or a run day. I guess it will depend on the weather when I get home around 5:30. Then again maybe I will do a RI30 workout. Might have to pick up a few groceries so will be later than 5:30 I guess.

Anyway, hope you all have a great day. I will read yesterdays posts later :)

    Good morning!!!
Well today is supposed to be rest day, which I find so extremely hard! I am an addict when it comes to exercising!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Thank you for the stretching advice on the previous thread. The truth is that I'm having all kinds of problems that are probably linked to how I sleep. (I changed the way I sleep back when I was pregnant--for obvious reasons--and over 2 years later, I'm still sleeping all doubled up on my right side.) My right knee, right hip, and right shoulder have been a mess, but I've been mostly working around it. But what sometimes happens with me is that when something's a little messed up, it spreads up and over (left foot spreads to right knee which spreads to left hip and so on), because I start to lean on the other side. I need to start by not sleeping hunched over and I definitely need to do some serious stretching and some routines to increase flexibility. I might as well get started on that. What good is strength and toning, if I feel stiff and cramped, right?

Soooo, today, I skipped a morning workout, to get a few home chores done. So, at the park, I decided to run again. This time I was determined to do better than last. I went 3 laps, running (if you can call it that--I was sooo slow!! lol) without stopping for 23 minutes. I made myself a promise that I wouldn't stop on the hill. I realized that if I stick to that one rule, I will always be able to add more distance or time, because once I crest the hill, I can go all the way back around again because it's all flat or downhill. Anyway, I wasn't properly hydrated so I definitely had to stop to get water, because I could feel my ankles nearly bursting through my shoes Incredible Hulk style! hahaha!! I never did start back running (sloshing) after the water but was pretty proud of myself for only a 2nd time out. Then, walked slowly/leisurely for an hour and did a nice long 15minute cooldown stretch.

That's it. If i can get in a nice stretching/flexibility routine tonight, I will. But I'm actually pretty happy with what I did today.

Hope everyone else is working out (or resting--equally as important  .ehem.jessmart. lol) and feeling proud of yourselves!! You should feel proud of what you are doing for yourself!!

Oh, Maureli...I vote RI30!! Do I get a vote? haha!

Today I did fitness blender's "Fit is better than Skinny" mostly because I agree with that statement. It was okay... probably wont leave that one in the weekly rotation though. i liked yesterdays hiit cardio and abs workout better. i sweat much more in that one, versus todwy's and todays was 37 minutes, rather than 30?!?
I wIll do an ab workout later, and get three rounds of push-ups in, when hubby is home from work!

Have a fit and healthy day everyone!

Today was supposed to be a run, but it's getting pushed back to tomorrow morning. My goal is to get to 30 min of mini workouts during my workday so that my breaks are actually productive. I will do 10 min total (already did 5) of situps, pushups, planks etc. and 20 min total of walking. I take small breaks during the day anyways, so this is my attempt at getting the most out of them. I know it's not much, but I need to keep the momentum going. I travel next week for work, so I really have to be disciplined this week. Have a great day everyone!

    Good Day Wednesday Partners!

I mixed up the day of the week thinking it was Thursday...lol...and did cardio P90X Kickboxing instead of strength training P90X Back & Biceps. It was a 58 minute session and it felt great to punch & kick at a few things...lol. This is one of my favorite cardio workouts.

Maureli: have a good day and hope you get to run this evening.

Sherry: good job on running today and enjoy a great total body stretch to prevent stiffness and tightness. I like Debbie Sieber's Slim & Limber and the P90X X-Stretch (particularly for my lower body).

Tara: like you, there are some workouts that I like better than others and use them a little less in my rotation. Having many choices does make it nice. You have a fit & healthy day as well!

Ctpeace: What you are doing is really great...breaking up your fitness in small segments. Get it in how best it fits!!

    Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

I am at work and bumping...I am not feeling my best and not qute sure what or why. I will proably still tackle my P90x workout this evening because my weekend is is jammed packed and won't allow for a workout on sat. so I have to plan my rest day this week instead of just taking one. :frown: ( dinner plans on sat.)

I will check back in this evening

So I am just going to jump in!

I have been camping the last few days so i didn't get in formal exercise. But i did get in some activity. My hubby and i just joined a gym so we are going to workout tomorrow when we get back in town.

Mycrazy8: snow in april. I guess that is not that uncommon. Call me crazy but I like snoveling show. However, we usually don't get a whole lot of snow at once where i am at. That would be different if we did.

Ctpeace: i like your workout strategy. I wonder if i would do it more if i broke it into smaller chunks.

Glad to be a part of this group!

Today was another cold, rainy day. I don't mind running in the cold or a light sprinkle, but cold and wet I just can't do. I'm really hoping to do my run tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I had bible study after work and cooking dinner, so now I am getting ready to do some power or vinyasa flow yoga and go to sleep. Good job everybody!

Hello Everyone, oh how i have missed u all. Work has been busy. Ok, i have good news and bad news.

Bad news: i didn't workout yesterday. i joined the gym at work so i could workout during my lunch hour. But i got to the gym and my card had not been 'equipped' to get access into the gym so thats how that went.
Another bad news: my eating hasn't been the best. Its not as bad as the weekend but not as clean as last week ;(

Ok good news: i worked out today. I ran 2miles in 27mins. ok i jogged 2miles in 27mins then got back to work.

Sherry: i wish i had a remedy for body aches. all i could think of was soaking in Epsom Salt i know it helps with muscle aches but am not sure if it applies to yours.

Pam: I love the hair style in your new profile pic

Sam: What is this 300 abdominal exercises?

mycrazy8s: thats another reason why am glad i moved from the Midwest. whew! And not to mention its spring.

Ashley: is it camping season yet lol

Toni: i hope your saturdat dinner plan doesn't spill over to Monday like mine did. altho am starting to feel my eating clean mojo coming on.

Good night everyone. its almost friday!

Sam: What is this 300 abdominal exercises?

Hey! Its nothing special, I joined a go up where every second day throughout April we do a designated three hundred core exercised, so today was Russian twists, sit up, bicycle crunches, plank, and flutter kick, an it changes each time.

If anyone wants to join I will post the link to the group on here!!
But I'm off to sleep, nighty night everyone!!
