    Bumping today's thread.

I'm having another one of "those" days. Spent all morning completing some paperwork (still not done) and I have to get my son cleaned up for another casting after school. Hoping this day won't be a complete bust. Fingers crossed for some activity. Gonna really miss going to the park today. :frown:

    Keep it up everybody!!

    Hi everyone!
I like today's quote it reminds me of something they said on Hungry for Change. It is not that i can't have this food item but that i can have it but i choose not to. I like that kind of mindset. I know i can change and make better choices now i just need to do it!

We are about to load up to tske the camper back.and get back to normal. So today is supposed to be day one at planet fitness with my hubby. We got a black membership in my hubby's name so we could go together and have some of the ammenties. And he could go during the day when i am at work because my hubby is currently not working, I really hope us going together motivates us both.

Fromhereonout: i hope you have a wonderful day and get some activity in. I know how overwhelming a pile of paperwork can be. I am a mental health professional and have to do it everyday.

    Love the quote today!

I got up at 5am and did Turbo Fire HIIT 15, used 1lb weighted gloves (who knew just 1 lb on each hand would make such a difference in intensity). Then did Turbo Fire Tone 30.

Fromhereonout: I too know how much paperwork stinks! I sit at my desk looking at reports all day long. It is such a drag.

    Good Day Tuesday....
It is dreary and cool today but we may get some sunshine later afternoon. At least the weather never keeps me from getting exercise since I do 90% of it indoors using DVDs. P90X Back & Biceps (51 mins) completed this morning using a 10 lb dumbbell for all of the exercises requiring weights and used a resistance tube for all of the pull-ups and chin-ups exercises since I don't own a pull-up bar. I broke a sweat at the 19th exercise (Curl-up/Hammer Downs). There is a total of 24 exercises in this workout. This is what Tony Horton calls "working the Glamour Muscles" and one of my favorite sessions.

Sherry: I have a feeling that you will find a way to get in some exercise today.

Jess: you had a great workout session and I can imagine the extra intensity felt using those weight gloves...whoa mama!

Ash: is your name short for Ashley? That is what I sometimes call my DD who is named Ashley. Getting support from a spouse is VERY helpful and good luck to you and yours on this health & fitness journey. My DH doesn't do "formal exercises" but works very hard keeping our outdoor property looking nice and things in working order. He burns MAJOR calories daily and is naturally a very slender guy (genetics). He is my number one supporter, too.

Have a thankful day everyone and I'll check back later.

Hi Everyone, my "small workouts" plan worked yesterday, and I even got enough pushups in (only about half were the "girlie" kind, it's progress) to feel it in my arms and chest today! Today is the run I was putting of, I'm shooting for 45 min.

Ashsmile: I am in the same boat, my hubby and I joined the Y together for the same reason! He's also not working right now, he's a stay at home daddy for the moment, so we're juggling who gets to go when since we can't go together. We're both learning how to encourage eachother without nagging (it's an art:smile: ) and do our own thing, but together.

It's sunny this afternoon! I am getting ready to do my C25K W4D1 (31 minutes...16 jogging, 15 walking) and I have a 1 hour yoga class this evening.

I completely understand about paperwork getting in the way! It seems like half of my job is filling out government mandated paperwork. Keep it up ladies!

Hey everybody!! It's technically already Friday here!! Something to look forward to.

Well, I used to be queen of paperwork when I worked in government contracts  . But this was family-related paperwork and I only just now finished it, after midnight. So, as much as I wish that I had found the time for some physical activity...it just didn't happen today. We got another call for a casting, but it's not til Tuesday, when my son has the day off from school. So I've got Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon to try to get my "exercise" on!!

Looks like everyone else is makin' it happen! Now, if I'm gonna have energy tomorrow--I better get to sleep!

    See y'all tomorrow!!!

I looked outside and it is snowing! It is not sticking anything yet but you are not the only one that gets snow mycrazy8!

We are home now. I showered all the campfire smell off. i am not going to make it to the gym today but i have a backup plan. I am going to do my elliptical and maybe a workout video too!

Auntsammy 88: are you using an app to do c25k? I tried to find one a few months ago on my phone without success.

Hurdisnie1: glad you are feeling better

Ctpeace: i hope you have a great run. I hear you about encouraging being an art. There is a fine line between being motivating and being pushy. I appreciate you mentioning that.

Pamela: yes ash is short for ashley. :-) You have good taste in names if dd means dear daughter.

Jessmart83: i am impressed by your morning workout. Sounds intense!

Well it isn't snowing anymore. This has been a weird spring already!

So i will jump on my elliptical in about ten to fifteen minutes for 45 minutes. Better get off here so i can get going on my elliptical. Will check in after!

So I completed P90x-Lean day 4- UML instead of the yoga because I didn't get it in yesterday I wanted a good burn.

Auntsammy 88: are you using an app to do c25k?

I use the app from zen labs. It's free. I don't have a smart phone, but I have an ipod. I found it just searching "C25K" in the app store.

    Hey all...
I decided to throw on a Jillian michaels shred level 3 today in honour of her visiting my city today for her 'maximize your life' tour. I paid my12 dollars for each DVD, and while I like the workouts, I can do without her pep talks! Especially if the tickets are going for over $50 ! No thanks, I'll pass... And curse you from my living room instead! Lol

I've actually decide to make a few other changes in my life.. Take out some of the extra distractions... So I'm officially OFF Facebook for at least this month. I want to see how it impacts my day to day. And if I get bored, I'll do extra excersise! I also, decided to take the little guy out in the stroller and get a few groceries that way, rather than just popping in the van.

Not sure what I'll do tomorrow..l I may just peruse fitness blenders workouts and make my plan now.

    Have a great night everyone!
