Hi All,

I am sure this has been asked many times but hopefully someone can quickly help...

I have yet to set my MFP settings because I am still confused about it. Right now it is set so that I am "supposed" to eat around 1700 calories a day, according to MFP and when I put in exercise it obviously goes up. My TDEE-15% according to the spreadsheet is 2088. Do I just program MFP to this? And then I would NOT enter my exercise?? Is this correct? Also, am I supposed to eat back exercise calories then? Or eat below this amount on days that I do not workout?

Thanks!

If you use the TDEE-15%, you don't eat your exercise calories back. You can log your exercise, but just say you burned 1 calorie. Program MFP to say you'll eat 1700 a day and that should be it.

I'll mention there are some other needed tidbits under Your Results you may have missed if this part didn't stand out. Might want to review those items.

Ahh yes, thank you heybales. I went back and I looked over the spreadsheet again and I see it. I was in a rush the first time I entered everything so I didn't look closely.

    Thanks!!
