It actually turned out very nice here yesterday, so I was able to get in a 6K run ouside instead of an indoor workout! Did that ever make me feel good. Spring is here, I think. Which makes me that more intent on getting this 10 lbs off my keester!! I feel so much better when I am at the weight I want to be, I guess it is that way for everybody, but when spring comes I seem to feel it even more.
I am planning a Jillian Michales workout this morning, it really is suppose to rain today. Then later, I have to take my cat to the vet for needles. Not fun. lol Oh well, gotta be done.
Sherry - how is your back today, hope that big old knot is gone!
Nareena - awesome on the run!! Run clubs are so great, it seems there are a lot of them now. Fantastic!
Jess - I should check out the turbo fire workouts on line, I am alwyas looking for someting new
Pam - how I would love to see 73* here right now! i think it is currently about 40*. I am use to the celsius scale, which is about 4*. I need some heat! WTG on the walk and hope the strength went well!
sam - good luck with that insanity workout!! I've heard that it is a tough one too
Dina - I have been doing some of the RI30 workout as well, on level 3. Also have her Killer butt and thigh video...its tough!
teetee- hope you are able to get your cardio in after work today!
scrook - i sure hope that your leg is soon better and you can get out there and run. I have had calf issues before but it ususally only stops me for a few weeks, not a few months. Good luck!
Toni - sounds like you needed a rest day yesterday...but you did it anyway! You are tough! hehe Hope you are feeling better today
Auntsammy - heres hoping that you are feeling better today and can get that run and yoga in! It seems to be going around!
lizardqueen - those baseball cupcakes sound awesome, how cool! HOpe you can get that run in today
ashley - I am willing to bet that a lot of that is water weight. I can go up and down very quickly too....and I think when it happens fast like that its not actual "fat" that you've gained, but water. If you drink lots, it will help!
steadybutsure - it is great that your office has a gym, I will sometimes take my running gear to work and run after work.....but I get off at 5pm. Can't imagine doing it at 8pm.
Zumba - hi there!! I am a newbie too...looking forward to getting to know you0 -
holy crap that was long! But most of it was just personlas....lol0

Maureli- wow on your message you got everyone... kudos for that..:-) I probably could of rested but I want to pick my rest day...(slight control issues here Lol)
Hopefull everyone has a good day stay positive..0 -
Good morning everyone!
Maureli great job on your 6K today
No workout for me this morning, but will be doing it later. My best friend called me yesterday (she goes to the gym down the street) saying she just can't push herself at the gym anymore. I told her to come over and I will kill her! Needless to say she is coming over on my lunch break so I can kick her *kitten*. I have Turbo Fire HIIT 20, Ab Ignitor and a killer leg workout from fitnessblender.com on the list of workouts to do this afternoon. She is going to hate me! :devil:0 -
Looks like the lights are on FUUL blast today so Sherry should be able to find us...heehee. Hope that each of you are happy and feeling healthy today, too.
For me...Tue – Whew…a strength training morning using P90X Back & Biceps (51 minutes). I upped the size weight from last week’s session from 10 lbs to 11.25 lbs for all bicep exercises requiring dumbbells. I continued to use the resistance tube to work the back (no pullup bar). That ole “runny nose syndrome” started much earlier around exercise #6 of 24….LOL! I guess the increase in weights increased the cardio effect. My glamour muscles got worked GOOD!
Toni: I KNOW you "feel me" with some of these P90X workouts! I know the Plyometrics is TOUGH and I have to avoid it like the plaque...LOL! It is high intensity and HIGH impact....doctor told me NOT to do it because of my sacral region. Can you walk today? Tony Horton is soooooooo smooth with the intense moves....LOL!
Jess: Not liking you...LMBO...just reading what you plan on doing to your friend with fitness today...LMBO!!!! Have a great session...whoooa mama
Maureli: we may hit close to 80 today...LOL! It is VERY windy so thank goodness my workout for today was indoors. Got my strength done this morning. So glad for you being able to run outdoors on yesterday and have fun with Jillian Michael today...watch out now...
I'll check back on the rest of you later in the day. Make it a terrific Tuesday!0 -
Ah, just look at y'all go!!! Doin' the shout-outs, workin' out hard, torturing friends!! lol! Whoo! Go get it guys!!
Quick check-in, still lots to do tonight, before tomorrow. Today, I didn't do any planned exercise, but that doesn't mean I didn't workout! Out with my kids, all over the city, from 10am til 3:30pm and carried my 30 lb lil girl for much of that (much TOO much of that). On my hip, across my front, up on my shoulders, "Heissmann style" ....had to try lots of ways to carry that heavy lil girl today--surely I'm adding some sort of functional strength! Gonna be out with my son all day tomorrow. Thank heavens for small miracles: my husband will take lil girl to the office with him so I won't have her to worry about her at the photoshoot. Doubt I'll get much activity, but we'll be in a beautiful forest area way outside of the city, so that should make for a pretty nice "rest day".
Keep it up everyone! Hump day is on it's way. Will try to check-in tomorrow after the day is done. :happy:0 -
hi everyone!!
hope everyone is having a great day! After the long workouts yesterday i kinda feel like i was hit by a truck but i powered through my workout today insanity - max pylo circuit!

Just making another check here today.
Sherry: the outing planned for tomorrow at the shoot site sounds just perfect for a "rest" day. I say log the activity involved with carrying/lifting of your little big girl...heehee.
Sam: hi to ya! Omgoodness....I'm surprised that you could find the "power" top get through an insanity plyo circuit today...you are one strong and tough lady! Let us know how you are feeling tomorrow.
I probably won't make it back here until tomorrow so each of you have a terrific evening!0 -
Evening, earlier I started to draft my response while at work, but that didn’t go too well. Though I originally intended cardio, it ended up being TRX. We decided to make it a command workout. It was nice and definitely a challenge. Once I got home, I think the concept of being back to work really took a toll on me. I was dead tired by 530, but I wanted to spend some time with the baby.
Not sure what I can squeeze in tomorrow, my schedule is hectic. I really don’t want to make it a rest day but that may occur. I definitely try to get something in if I can. I hope everyone had a great day and wonderful workouts.0 -
good evening ladies, this morning I did a 40 min strength dvd and 15 min. yoga and just came in from a .5 run. Didn't even seem worth getting running clothes on but that .5 felt awesome. Yep spring is here. It was 82 degrees today, but gosh this wind sure could die down. So sorry I never have time for shout outs, but I think all of you are awesome and doing great. Off to bed for me, talk to everyone tomorrow0

Feeling a little better, but still not able to breathe well enough to run. I did a walk fusion video by Jessica Smith which is basically walking/aerobics with a few lunges and a little ballet inspiration. Her videos are really great low impact options. I also did about 10 minutes of her mat barre video and a few sun salutations.0

Auntsammy88: u should get better before working out. Not being able to breathe 100% is scary.
New again pam: kudos to u and all for doing p90x
Maureli: it is nice having a gym at work. Somehow sneaking in a workout at lunch gives my a change after 3months of working out at home.
I did my run today and i think i might be able to do more than 2miles in 30mins. We'll see on wednessday. Plus, i debut the first pencil skirt today. Felt so good seein the curves and less fat. I thought i wasnt loosing weight but i think things are falling in where they should which makes the outfits look so much better. Such a good feeling, it inspired my salad for dinner and 2.25mile run.0
