Squat form check please!

Hello! As the weight gets heavier, I figured it was a good time to make sure I'm on the right track with form. If you wouldn't mind taking a look and giving feedback. Thanks!

Ahhh the backlight videography. lol.
It looks like you're twisting to the right? Like your right side is going down faster and further than your left.0 -
Depth is good, though you're coming up off your heels at the bottom, and you're rounding your butt in towards your heels at the bottom of the squat. Focus on driving your hips up as you come back out of the hole.

Hmm, I see what you mean. I haven't been *feeling* that way, but I'll keep it in mind on Friday.
Yeah, the backlit video - I was going for a 90's era Madonna feel, ya know?0 -
Looks like you might be leaning a little far forward? At the bottom of your squats, it looks like the bar might be a little (maybe a few inches) in front of the center of your foot. Depth looks good, and I agree that it looks almost as if halfway down you tip the bar a little to the right. However, I'm not sure if it just isn't something to do with the angle of the camera.0

wow you can tell I'm no expert, I was just thinking 'you make that look easy' and 'the bar looks like it's going up and down in a straight line to me'!
I -definitely- need to do one of these videos for y'all to pull apart!!0 -
The more I watch it, the more I see that dip to the right. Hmm. Thinking I should deload a bit, maybe back down to 85 or so, and work on some of these issues. I'm going to have someone video me from behind so that I can get a good handle on what is happening with that dip. I did some broom squats at home, and DH says I'm not tipping at all, but obviously something is happening.
I'll focus on my back arch, too - I don't have a rear end to speak of, so I can't tell if I am tucking it or if it's just my lack of badonkadonk. Another compelling reason to deload and focus on form before I go up any higher.
Thanks for all of your input!0 -

^^^ this was my immediate thought too but a woman bodybuilder at my gym just gave me the same advice. I guess on the the way up I am using my back abit to get the weight up. The lady at my gym suggested that I was compensating form because I was lifting too heavy and I'm currently at a deloaded weight. :noway:0
