    Good morning

Just having my morning whole wheat bagel and egg white...with coffee of course. I think this is my favourite meal of the day. Mmmmm good.
Yesterday did the Killer Butt & Thighs with Jillian Michaels. I think next time I am either going to go up to the next level or maybe try a different one all toghther. I think I might look around to see what I can find in town.

Today is grocery day, am I the only one who loves grocery shopping? Things are pretty bare around here so its time to go re-stock. My hubby is a lobster fisherman and there was pretty much nothing to put in his lunch last night.

I am hoping that I can run this afternoon, it is raining (yet again) but I think it is suppose to stop later on.

Pam - I am so jealous of your 80*! lol It is about 34* here this morning. And raining. Come on Mr Sun!

Ok, I am off. Have a great day everyone :)

    Hi everyone

Hope you don't mind me joining in on your group, but I am so close to my goal and am starting to struggle so need all the help I can get. I so don't want to slip into old habits and I am fighting it hard. I'm sticking to my exercise programme (Turbo Fire - halfway through week 3), and the inches are coming off. Is anyone else doing TF? How are you finding it?

Good morning everyone! Yesterday my best friend did survive the butt kicking, said she will be back Thursday, we shall see!
Today is rest day, thank goodness because I really need it!
Hope you all have an amazing day!

It's Wednesday and we are expecting thunderstorms this afternoon...bahhhhh! We always need the rain but not the possibility of lightening and hail. LOL...according to TWC phone app, the storm should arrive at 1:45pm CDT...lol...funny how phone apps are so cool.

Today is cardio with P90X Kenpo X (kickboxing) scheduled but I switched out and did P90X Cardio X (43 mins) which included kickboxing, yoga, core, plyo (which I modified to protect my lower back from impact), and general cardio moves. Instead of those Dreya Rolls, I did my own version of a Pilates roll…lol. I skipped that superman/banana movement. I could feel the heat escaping from my body! This was a great fitness session which I did my best with and forgot the rest…LOL!

Jess: lol, it's good to hear that your best friend survived that beastly workout.. Enjoy your rest day!

Emma: welcome to the group!! I'm not doing TF but do a mix of P90X and CLX. Maybe because I've been a consistent exerciser for three good years now it is a habit and I never even consider "slipping". How long have you been consistently exercising? I say do workouts that you enjoy and change up every 4-6 weeks. Personally, I change up my routines every 4 weeks now. We are here to support however you need so don't get discouraged. Keep sticking to your workouts until they are just a "natural" thing for you. WTG on losing inches...you are leaner!!

Maureli: I had a chocolate whey protein w/mango, papaya, & strawberries smoothie after my workout and a cup of coffee 45 minutes prior to it. I usually have coffee to get that extra boost to get through workouts...LOL!! Jillian Michaels even recommends it....LOL!! Speaking of our weather, don't be jealous today because it is going to be stormy...yuck. I used to love grocery shopping but no longer since the prices keep increasing. We have a fruit and veggie garden to help with the bill and have fresh goods. Happy grocery shopping to ya! Enjoy your run today, too!

How's everyone else doing? Make it a wonderful Wednesday and I hope to check back later.

I'm not sure if it came from the lower number on the scale this morning or just knowing that I needed to get it done, but I found some motivation laying around. I did my StrongLifts 5x5 and then took my two year old with me for a walk/jog in the the jogging stroller and logged in just over two miles. Today was just a taste of what's to come as far as temperature and weather. It was around 70 degrees and 85% humidity. We're supposed to get thunderstorms at some point today. I was sweating standing still. Needless to say, I had a nice sweat sheen by the time I finished up. My dog, Tutti, used my shoulder as a salt lick for a minute!

I'm coming down with the cold my two boys have, so yesterday my head felt like it was going to explode from the sinus pressure. Today it's more just a drippy nose. I need to go pick up some vitamin C so maybe it won't get full blown.

Great job everyone - new and old!

Just peeking in for a minute. Haven't read up on everybody's posts yet. Had a busy day in the forest. It was a beautiful Spring day in the forest, at the base of a mountain (even if the kids were all dressed in next Winter's clothes lol). There was alot of traipsing back and forth from the trailer, down to the creek, forest, and back up again, but hardly "exercise". And don't even get me started on how badly I ate today. Not much choice. It was nice to get out of the city...but I'm glad today is over so I can get back to a healthy routine. Also, I'm exhausted, so this check-in is all you'll get from me until life returns to normal tomorrow. I do hope that everyone is having a great day, working towards your goals.

Today was C25K W4D2. I didn't get up and do it before work like I should have.. I've been a bit lazy in the mornings lately :(. BUT I got out of work early (6 instead of 8pm!) and decided that after it cooled down a little outside, I'd give the C25K app on my phone a shot outside for the first time...

32 mins, 2.09 miles. Not rocket speed, but I am working on endurance after all. So.. see ya'll tomorrow. I am hoping for the group run @ 3 miles tomorrow evening.

Maureli- I hope you were able to get your run in today. In CT it was running pretty bad this morning but by the time I left it was pretty nice and never rained again.

Emma – Congrats to being close to your goal, having encouragement can definitely help you stay committed and help you through your struggles. I have TF and I thought about doing it again. I was going back and forth between CLX and TF. But TF was a little too advance since I haven’t really worked out for the past 2 years due to a bad injury and pregnancy. When I did TF, I totally enjoyed it and really felt that it help build up my endurance. I know that I will return to it again.

Jessmart83 – I had to move over to yesterday’s post to see what you did with your friend. I wonder how she felt today? That really seemed like *kitten* kicking. It’s nice that you are able to give her a workout that she enjoyed.

NewAgainPam: I enjoyed the superman/banana rolls and the Dreya rolls but they can be a killer,. Glad you enjoyed your workout and made the best of it. I liked your little saying, might have to steal that. 

Hurdisnie1- I do hope you feel better soon. Get all the rest you can.

Lizzardqueen- that was a great way to take advantage of the nice weather. Maybe your stroll helped you getting over the cold a little bit. Hope you don’t get too sick.

FromHereonOut- Even though you weren’t able to get any good exercise it, it is definitely good that you had a lot of movement. Hopefully, you will be able to have a good night of rest. Have a great workout tomorrow.

DinaMW2013- Wow, that does seem like a butt kicker. Are you and Jessmart83 sharing buttkicking ideas?

    Scrook- enjoy your rest day.

Nareena-Great that you took advantage of the early work departure. I hope you have good weather for your planned run tomorrow.

As for me, I’m super excited that I got a workout in! My evening meeting only took 35 minutes. Everyone was shocked how quick it ended. So when I got home and found my daughter still sleeping, I quickly changed and popped in JM 30DS, it just arrived today. Tomorrow will be TRX with command again. I think we are going to make that our standard on Tuesday and Thursday.

So i was watching a couple of Grey's episodes on the dvr with my hubby and i was reading your guys posts. My hubby and i didn't make it to the gym yesterday or today. It was getting kinda late. I got motivated reading all the exercise everybody did so i got on my elliptical for thirty minutes. Thanks guys! I joined this group because i don't exercise everyday (or almost) and i want to. I lose weight when i eat under my calorie goal and exercise four or more times a week. Go figure! But my hubby and i have eaten unhealthy and not exercised for most of our marriage. I am trying to make good habits. And i am super stoked that my hubby has started to break bad habits with me and make good ones. I am going to go log my food.

Welcome Emma, this is a good group!

    Good night everyone!

bad bad food day....Testing week apparently means donut holes and mini cupcakes. Then went to bible study tonight and there was homemade pecan pie.Really need to exercise some self-control....or just exercise. Just got home for the first time not long ago. I did 10 minutes of "shooming" through the house and some sun salutations. Really need to get the lead out!

Busy day today! I usually don't get on here until bedtime to read posts. I did a 50 min spinning class, it was hard, but I did my best! I hope you all had a great day and workouts!
