Whole 30: Who's following ALL the rules?

I am currently on day 26 of my first Whole 30. I have found it to be a pretty pleasant experience, but since I was following a pretty strict paleo diet before hand, maybe that's why. I have not had ANY food that is off plan, but I am having kind of a hard time following the rest of the rules. Some of the ones I mean are eating only in a relaxed state at the kitchen table, avoiding stress, and getting a minimum of seven hours of sleep a night. I am having a hard time simply sticking to the three meals a day plus the extra workout meals. I am even having a hard time not tracking my food and staying off the scale. I was wondering how many of you are following ALL of the rules to a T and also if you guys thought that my struggling with the non food rules of this program are going to keep me from experiencing optimal results and the "life changing epiphany" that they talk about in It Starts With Food?

I would approach those elements of the program as guidelines.

    I've faltered:

    1. I have checked my weight once a week. I am part of a biggest loser contest, so I have been weighing in to participate in that.
    2. I log my food at the end of the day out of curiosity, and so I have data to look back at. However, I have no interest in whether I am "under" or "over" my calories. Also, i've found that i'm less obsessive about my workouts and the calories burned aspect.
    3. I get about 6 hours of sleep. Yet, I feel rested.

I would say that with strict compliance, one would have a more drastic experience. The food alone was a big change for me, so I am feeling the positive effects of proper fuel!

I weigh myself, track food periodically out of curiosity, and don't sleep enough. Changing the food (DRASTIC change for me) was enough of a change to commit to. And it's working. Not sure about a life-changing epiphany, but I have sure gotten a few realizations about how my body reacts to certain foods!

I kind of feel like they put all those other rules on there so if someone tries to sue them because they didn't get their epiphany, they can respond, "well, you only got six hours of sleep that one night, so it's not our fault." But I'm a bit distrustful of selling diet plans. Lmao
