Toni, hope you get well soon!

Jess, sounds like a great workout. (I'm beat too...and lucky for me it's nearly 10pm here!)

Well, working out didn't happen today. I was beat this morning and had some laundry to catch up on today. Then, I "donated" my afternoon workout time to my lil girl, by taking her to the park. She'd been through as much as me & her older brother these past couple of days and really deserved some play time. So, although I didn't get any scheduled exercise today, I was at least more active than yesterday, with all the walking/ carrying lil girl from place to place from about 1pm til 5pm. She even did a little "play" running around the track at the park with me (cute, haha). Some of the "regulars" were there running and walking and I felt "left out", but had fun with my lil girl. I'm trying not to feel bad for missing so many days now. It has been unavoidable and I don't feel like I'm slipping or making excuses. I'll get back to it. There's another casting tomorrow (didn't I say that when it rains, it pours?) but we haven't decided to go or not. I've also rescheduled this weekend's drumming lesson so that my son can get some well-deserved play time, which will mean more park time (active, but not exercising). But my time is coming too.

Good afternoon everyone.....I had a really really bad food day on yesterday. I still came under calorie needs but didn't make good snack choices and those good choices were available.... geeeesh. It all started going wrong when I decided not to cook dinner...I was just feeling lazy or wanted the "break" because usually I cook EVERY day. Oh well...like someone said to me it is a new day and a new beginning. At least I did my exercise on yesterday.:blushing:

It is Thursday and got CLX Lower Body Extreme Zone completed (41 mins). I used the 12.5 dumbbell set again and resistance tube. If you know about Chalene Johnson, she likes to go heavy or go home…LOL! She also LOVES squats and lunges…yikes! Great session.

Sherry: I bet you were still tired out from the past couple of days running your son around on shoots. Your time spent with your little girl is always priceless and you did get in some physical activity with her. You are not having one of those "lapse in fitness"...not by a long shot. Enjoy your day and time at the park tomorrow with your children.

Jess: You started off having a wonderful day by exercising...lol...and hope it carried you throughout the work day, too.

Toni: did you feel well enough to "push" through some fitness? If not, that is okay because when you are fully back to feeling great you get into that "beast" mode!

teetee: I may have gotten that phrase from Tony Horton or Chalene Johnson...paraphrasing "do your best and forget the rest"..LOL! WTG on your Wednesday workout session. A sisterfriend who is also my long time fitness mentor is taking those TRX classes.

Ashley: a couple that workouts together stays together...heehee. WTG on getting on that elliptical machine last night.

Sam: as you may have read above I too had a very bad food day on Wednesday. What was up with Wednesday...lol!

Jheri: great job exercising last night!!

Have a thankful Thursday everyone and I'll try to check back later.

Just a quick post, trying to put little one a sleep. We didn't make it to TRX, I had a voluntary statement to take and felt real guilty trying to rush the fellow and my coworker was preparing cases. We were all bummed. Tomorrow is the fitness test for some but I'm exempt b/c of the baby. But I do plan to escape for the 2.4 mile fun run. :) Today I came home an d completed 30DS. I will officially start on Monday, but just enjoyed it yesterday.
    Have a good evening everyone!

It was supposed to rain here and thunderstorm today. Thankfully it waited until AFTER my run! Literally as I got into my car, leaving the group run I heard a weather alert. We are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 4am (golf ball sized hail is likely, even!). There is a tornado watch until 10pm as well but that's not as likely..

I did my run though, 3.1 miles is really getting to be my "go to" workout and I am really loving it. There's a running store not a mile from where I work and they put on a group run twice a week on Tue and Thurs. There's 1, 3, 4 and 6 mile runs. Anyone can walk, jog, run or anything in between so there's a lot of levels. I've been doing the 3 mile ones, some jogging with walking intermingled.. and I am getting stronger as I go on.

Anyway, today was 50 mins and just shy of 3.2 miles (3.19 so the app rounds down). I am sticking with it as 3.1 so I can push to get a little faster, and then to go a little longer ;)

Much better day today. I'm hoping that soon I'll be back to normal, so I can run again. I'm really missing it, but my lungs are saying no. Today I did two 10 minute Jessica Smith workouts: 10 minute full body toning circuit and 10 minute toning walk 1. I also did 20 minutes of yoga. So happy that tomorrow is Friday. Good job ladies!

Toni: i hope you feel better soon. Sleep as much as possible, it helps your body fight whatever is breaking it down

Pam: i know what you mean about being under calories but not making the right choices. I have been wanting more carbs this month that i decided to eat the bread and the rice as long as i stay within the calorie limit. The bread is a 100cal 100% wheat bun but the rice is 100% white rice lol. Wheat/brown rice just doesn't absorb flavor.

Nareena: i wish we had a group like that here. or a hiking group. can't wait for summertime so i can at least go for walks before it gets dark.

I pumped some iron today and tomorrow its back to cardio.

Sherry you were right about seeing the benefit of RI30 after the 30days. My body feels lighter and i think i have lost a couple inches but i don't want to measure myself yet not until end of the month or I might wait until mid May. Why kill the joy by measuring myself and discovering its only a 1 or 0.5inch loss instead of the 3inches in my head :)

Good night everyone and honestly Thank God tomorrow is Friday.

Steady: Where are you? Check with your local running/sports store. Sometimes it's just a group of locals, sometimes it's put on by the store (like here). It's Big Peach Running Co here (I live in Atlanta, *everything* is peach-something!) and they put these groups together to run.. afterwards, everyone comes back to the store to sign back in, and of course they mill around the store a while, buying all kinds of things they've never thought they needed, or couldn't find elsewhere, etc.
