In the last few years I've run a lot, but more recently have spent more time cycling and hiking than running.
I'm running a half marathon though on 11th May. My old pre marathon/half marathon way was to eat a couple of thick slices of bread covered in peanut butter topped with banana a few hours before the race.
Does anyone have any tips for what I can replace it with? I thought about just having it for the day, but then I feel so much better without bread in my life that I think it would do me more harm than good!!
