I am so happy. I did my last run in week 8 and now I can´t wait for week 9 to finish the program.

I measured time and distance and I ran/walked 5k in 40.28min. I did 2 mins warmup, 28 mins running, 2mins walk and then some 30 sec sprints. :) I think I am prepared for my first official 5k! This program is amazing! I can´t believe I came that far in such a short time. I really started in january. Not mentioning the efforts I did last year to get started that didn´t really work out.

    That's awesome!! Great job!

I'm in week 8 right now and am also looking forward to finishing next week. Then I start 10K training.

I know there are phone apps out there if you do a search for C25K. I think Active.com or CoolRunning have them. I use the free MP3 podcasts from the NHS (UK) website. They can be found here:

Congrats to you yoo, timeasterday. Isn´t it a great feeling?

I will work on speed and distance fiorst before I start the 5to10k program.

I have a free app for my windows phone. I think they are all almost the same. I needed the voice for the intervalls. Now for the longer runs I just take my HRM with me. I also stop my time for the sprints with it. I am not listening to music so I hate having stuff with me.

Thanks! Yeah, it feels great to get out there and run every time. Last Saturday I went out to a nearby trail and ran 4 miles without stopping. I have never run that far! It wasn't easy, and I wasn't fast but I did it.

Good luck on speed training. Sprints & hills!!

Honestly, the 10k program is about speed and distance, so don't let that hold you back.

I got the Radiant Tap App for my phone for $5, but the Cool Running app is the most popular. Let us know about your first day!

I just started week 7. So surprised that this program really seems to work if you just do what it says, go at a comfortable pace and take time to recover inbetween lessons. I was so scared to even run a minute on the treadmill day 1. Now I look forward to running outside! Cant wait to finish now!! Congratulations on your progress. Its very motivating for me to see people doing so well.

Yes, DMW45. My theory is that it was created by pixies using fairy dust. Because it's darn near magical.
