We have been thinking about reading Robin Cook - either Death Benefit or Nano. Do we have a vote?

Death benefit is fine. If I have already read it, I will just read Nano instead; I wont know til I go to the library in the next couple of days

Its got to be Nano because I already read Death Benefit or some other author entirely like James Patterson or John Grisham. I also like Elmore Leonard but his are pretty scary; so I am going to go look for Nano tomorrow

I am still waiting for my copy. If you find it not a winner, we can change. I used to be obsessive about finishing a book once I started if but because of my book club friends I have changed Now if I don't feel good about a book after 3-4 chapters I go on to the next one. So many books , so little time. \

Let us know how it is going. Looks like it might be several days before Nano arrives at my library.

    Mabug- let's hear from you.

I decided to buy it for my e-reader. I'm in the middle of packing up my house for the next week and then I'll be on the road, traveling across country for the next 2 weeks. I plan to read it along the way when I have a few minutes. I'll be traveling with 2 cats, so I don't know how much time I will have, but I will need an escape! I'll be checking in as time allows.

Changing it and moving to a different book is fine with me, too. I can purchase something on the road. That would be fun!

Mabug - are you traveling and/or moving? I picked up the book and will start it today. Is there a book you wanted to read on your trip? Maybe we could join you on your travels.via a book/

The packers are here today. I stayed up until 3:30 this morning getting ready for them. I haven't had time to read a single word yet. I'm going to go along with whatever you two choose. Tomorrow all of my stuff gets moved to storage. Maybe I'll hit the road on my cross country adventure on Friday or Saturday. I'm driving from California to Miami; renting out my house in CA and vacationing in Florida for awhile. After that, who knows? I just retired about a month ago and I won't work again for some time because I need knee replacement surgery. But I want to have a little fun first.

Hey Mabug...Enjoy the adventure. I am in California, am retired, and have a knee replacement !!

I am reading Nano and getting used to Cook's style. Pia is the opposite of Valentine.

Mabug with all that is on your plate can you think up a book for May or whenever we finish. Hey, maybe you will find a treasure on the road.

Lenoresaari- brother lives in Jacksonville and love the sandy beaches there.

Well off to try Cook again!!

I took a break from Nano and read another book. The morality of it was icky. I am going to try to ontinue reading it and finish it up this week - just to see the outcome. His writing style flows and is easy to read. It is the characters and topic of this book that is hard to take.

Let's all start suggesting May titles OR if we continue to go in rotation...Mabug it is your turn.

I've been on the road and will continue to be for another few days. Please pick something for May and don't wait for me. I've traveled from California through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas (saw the Alamo), Arkansas (Bill Clinton's home), and now in Tennessee to see Graceland.
