bumping today's thread. the fitnessblender fembot wiped me out yesterday. I am soooo sore this morning. Hope I can get something done later.
Hope all our partners in Texas aren't anywhere near that big plant explosion I read about on BBC.

Good morning (at least morning here) everyone!
So got up at 5am and just could not get my butt moving until 545. I have only done my Fire Tone 30 this morning, plan to do my Fire 30 on my lunch break. I have a feeling it is going to be one of those days that I am going to have to drag myself through.

Not my best day today. No workout due to lack of sleep & I overslept . Not the best choices in the food dept. either b/c I didn't get a chance to make my lunch & one of my co-workers brought in Panera. Tomorrow may be no better since my fiance's work schedule shifted to where he's off from his 1st job which cause me to be up at 4am. When he's off he goes in to his 2nd job which he goes to by 9 am. I try not to disturb him. Will do my best for the rest of the week.0

Hi all, I'm back in the groove! 4 miles this morning and I felt pretty good!
Dina: take heart, keep pushing to find the right timeslots and get the sleep you need. A couple of bad days isn't a problem as long as you don't let them discourage you enough to give up. You'll get some great working out in over the weekend, you can do it!0 -
Hey ladies! I think we all have something in common today: good intentions! I had good intentions for working out, but I'm also dragging today. I got stuck with lil girl in the afternoon. DH eventually showed up at the park to take her off my hands so that I could run, but it was a little late. Only got 17min run and about 30min+ walk (secretly I was relieved, because my legs were even heavier today!). Of course before that, I'd been carrying lil girl all over the place for a couple hours, but that's life, not exercise. So, if it's not bad enough about the run, then I had an unexpected guest during my son's taekwon-do (when I try to do a video), so I didn't get a video done either. I guess it's a good thing that there's always tomorrow...or the next day...or next week; and that I've been doing pretty good so far this week. And like today's image points out: it's the 'habit' that is important, so a few minor interruptions are nothing to worry about.

Too many days this week of somber and horrific incidents!! I believe that it all affected my mood as well today. Okay, so it was a P90X Chest, Shoulders & Triceps session (did 27 mins of 55 mins…12 exercises out of 24). I just was not “feeling” to do the complete session today. I did use a heavier dumbbell set for three of the 12 exercises so that was a positive thing. I can feel my triceps “trembling” right now.
I reside in Burton which is a small town approximately 135 miles sw of West, Tx where that fertilizer explosion occurred on yesterday. Our DD's home shook and they live 60 miles north of that town. My thoughts & prayers are still with those in Boston and now with those in West.

Quick post, I'm calling it a early night. Had an extremely slow day at work and thought about going to workout earlier than planned, but I agreed to go as a command to TRX. So I completed that this afternoon. Was able to successfully do 4 inverted planks on the right leg and then almost swing like a monkey trying it with my left. But I did get up briefly. Tomorrow morning, I agreed to run the physical fitness test with my co-worker. Technically, I have until August before I am required to do it. But it is good to see where I stand in my ability.

no workout for me today. I did get some new dvd's that I ordered. They are called Spartacut. Anyone heard of them or tried them. Well doc says no more dvd's for me for awhile. It's back to PT but I can still bike and swim. Gonna have my daughter try the new dvd's and see what she thinks. I'll keep you posted. I agree all this violence in the last couple days has but a damper on the spirits for sure. And bad weather and tornado watch don't help. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.0

Hi everyone!
I am happy to report that I jumped on the scale today and I am down to under 200 lbs again. I am super stoked. I lost the 8 lbs of water weight and am at my lowest for this year. I am going to work really hard to stay under. I have been going under and then gaining and then going under and you know what I mean. Haven't done any exercise yet today. So I am going to get on my elliptical tonight and I am going to try and do an hour. I usually only do 30 minutes and sometimes 45 so this will be a little more for me. Grey's is on tonight so I might just do it then. No gym this week. My husband hurt his big toe and it hurts to put pressure on it. We plan to do it next Monday.
Scrook: I am sorry to hear that you are hurt. Did you have an injury? I am not sure if I missed it or not. I haven't been able to read everything this week and I am still new to the group.

Wow Pam I didn't know you were so close to that fertilizer incident. It has been a bad week for people. Glad you got some P90X in today and with heavier weights that is great!
Fromhereonout: I like the msg for today! Isn't it funny how life happens and sometimes gets in the way of the good we are trying to do. But you are right. We just gotta keep trying!

Jessmart: I hope your rest of the day was kick booty! I guess there will always be some days that drag mixed in with the days we are in high gear! Do you always try to do two workouts a day? I have noticed you are good about doing one or two a day. That is awesome! Good for you!
Well, gotta go! I want to clean up a bit and then I am definitely doing my elliptical tonight. I am telling myself this so I have no excuses!

I did a 60 minute flow yoga class at the studio today. Between yesterday's long run and today's yoga (lots of lunges/ leg work) my legs feel like jello! I may give my legs semi-rest day tomorrow and do some upper body work. Good job ladies!0

Hello Everyone..
I am the late one all the time.. but by the time I get home from work and cook dinner and clean ...then I workout.. i know crazy.. but I am not a morning person never have been and working out is not going to change that.. ( I Aint Gon be able to do it)
Ok anywho
I completed Legs and Back P90X workout 58 min including cool down.. which wasn't too bad.. I used the Bands this time instead of looking like a doofiss because I can't do a pull up yet.. LOL my lower half is way heavy for me. I did not include the ab ripper x tonight it just got late it's 10:30pm now.. So I will piggy back it on tomorrows workout.
I hope tomorrow works out better for me and if any of you struggled ... for you as well0 -

Toni: can you walk on those legs today?? P90X Legs & Back always left my glutes so sore that I could barely sit upon them.:laugh:
Ashley: BIG congrats on getting under 200 lbs!!!! Keep up the great work you are doing which is not an easy task but so worth it. 30 mins on an elliptical is GREAT!!
Sammy: looks like it was a leg day for you on yesterday like Toni....whoa mama! Do rest them today.
