    TGIF EVERYBODY!!!!

Love today's inspiration^^ reminder. Boy, have I been there before! I bet we all have.

Okay, so today...I dunno. I was thinking of taking a rest today, but yesterday was a little disappointing and Sat & Sun are both packed days for me and I don't know if I'll get anything done then (besides walking with the kids to various "dates" we have). I'm also still sore from idunnowhut, so I might just let the day and my body guide me.

    Anyway, IT'S FRIIIIDAY!!! Happy pre-weekend!!!

Love today's inspiration post! Quick post before I shower and return to work. Ran my 1.5 miles as required for Navy physical test. (I'm waived until August, but ran it just to see where I stand). I ONLY need to shave off 15 seconds to have a passing score and 1:30 for my best time. I'm happy with my time because it has been almost 17 months since the last time I ran it (Nov 2011). Since then I have ruptured my Achilles, had it repaired, had a baby (8 weeks today   ), and still struggling to lose the 10lbs I gained over that 17 months time frame. My time was great! I WILL IMPROVE IT by August.

    Good Morning!

i love todays inspiration post too, it seems that I can really relate to that lately.

Just finished RI30 Week 3 workout, I really had to force myself to get down there and do it today. Spent 6 hours driving yesterday, picked up my son from University and I think that the drive just kind of zonked me out. I kind of like those workouts though, they are about 30 minutes long and seem to go by fairly quickly.

I have a lot of unpacking to do, totes of all sorts of goodies from university. lol But, got lots of time to do it.

@Pam - I had a rough, just down day yesterday, too. The Boston marathon, West explosion (I live about half way between Houston and Beaumont), a local VFD couple's 20 month old died when accidentally run over by a family vehicle and the area FD's escorted him from the ME's office all the way to the local funeral home. Then my youngest two children missed their naps and were just acting awful no matter how much I tried to be nice and it ended in them going to bed two hours early.

So, I woke up determined that today would be a good day! I did my SL's and then since hubby was home, even though it was a little chillier than I'd like to run in, I left the kiddo with him and got a two mile walk/jog in. I did it in 24:30, which is pretty good for me. That 50 degree air was rough on the lungs though.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be pushing myself tomorrow morning to burn as much as I can. We are going to Medieval Times for my daughters birthday tomorrow. Already planned out the dinner and it it over 1300 calories :noway: But I am going to enjoy every last bite of it :)

Hi Team! TGIF! My scheduled workouts for the week are done…yay! I just finished a 30 minute outdoor walk dealing with 18 mph wind conditions but it was clear skies.

Dina: enjoy your rest day...they are important, too.

Jess: looks like you got in a "hot" workout today and hope that you have a wonderful weekend celebrating your daughters birthday!! Forget calories at Medieval Times...LOL!!

LizardQueen: :flowerforyou: hope these make you feel much better. We both finally have some sunshine and that alone can uplift our spirits...(((hugs))). Wasn't that air chilly today?? It was the wind that did it for me moreso than the actual temps. WTG on getting in a good run today.

Maureli: great way that you started the day and enjoy your weekend!

Teetee: BIG congrats on getting within seconds of your required Navy test run!!! You WILL get there and at this rate before August!!

Hello everyone, all I can say is BURR!! It was in the 80's all week and now today is only 43 and windy. Oh my gosh it feels so cold.

Did the Step video, upper body and stomach and my Physical Therapy stretches. Tomorrow my husband is running in his very first 5K He is so nervous. I wish I could run with him, but I will be there chearing him on.

pam- great job, its hard going against the wind

jess- medieval times sounds cool, hope your daughter has a great day

maureli- Great job for getting your workout done, when you were not feeling it.

LizardQueen-- I am sorry you have had such a bad day, Sometimes all the tragedy is just to much.

I also love the quote for today.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the evening.

Hello everyone yes going to take a rest day. Just tired..and mentally drained but will makeup for it.

I also appreciated the quote should have read that first thing this morning ( tsk tsk) that could of helped with some of my eating choices.
