Happy Saturday! Sorry for the late threadbump, busy "rest" day today. It's already after 9pm here, and I've been out for much of the day. Maybe now I'll really "rest".

Hope everyone is enjoying your weekend!

    Happy Saturday everyone :)

My choice exercise today probably would have been an outdoor run, but since it was raining I ended up doing Jillian Michaels killer Butt and Thighs. It is a good workout for me, I am sweating buckets when I'm done. Its 4 circuts plus the warm up/cool down. I have been doing Level 2, going to give Level 3 a try soon. Tomorrow is giving good weather so I will get for a run then.

Toni - rest days are definitely needed. I actually had 2 in a row this week!

Scrook - your yesterday weather sounds about like mine. Brrr....is it ever going to warm up??

Pam - sounds like your week of exercise was right on track. WTG :)

Dina - hope you had a good day of rest yesterday, and gave 'er a good old kick in the butt today!

Jess - dinner tonight sounds like a great time, enjoy your daughters BD.

Lizardqueen - good job on the run/walk. Seems like there have been a lot of downer stuff in the news lately. So glad that they got the bombers, couldn't believe that one is 19yrs old. wow.

Teetee - good job on the run yesteray, very good :)

sherry - did you end up taking a rest day yesterday? SOunds like today has been busy for you.

We are going to be in town tonight at suppertime. so I guess we will be going to Wendys. I'll have a half baja salad, love them and they aren't too bad. I usually don't put the tortilla chips on them or the dressing.

I may indulge in a glass of wine later on. we'll see!

Hope you all ahve a nice weekend.

Hi everyone, well it started off chilly this moring but ended up being absolutely beautiful out. Hubby did great on his first 5K and he surprised me and had a shirt made up that said RUNNING FOR MY WIFE on front and PLEASE RECOVER SOON I was so surprised. After almost 29 years of marriage he still surprises me sometimes. Ok enough mushy stuff. Came home and had a nice 15 mile bike ride. Hope everyone is enjoying their sat.

OK going to do some type of workout maybe the XStretch...I have what appears to be a catch or sore back upper section on the left right where bra strap is. Its hard to take a deep breath but every day its gotten tighter and tighter instead of loosening...has anyone had this happen...any recommendations? Thanks guys happy Sat.

That is so awesome!!! What a hubby :) my hubby is a runner too, and I remember him once telling a friend of his that it was harder for him to have his wife with an injury than to have one himself. Hehehe

    Great bike ride!

yep he's a keeper for sure,

maureli- your so right, I am not a happy camper when I can't run and its been almost 4 months. lol

hurdisnie--so sorry to hear your back is still bothering you. sounds like a pulled lat muscle, but you think it would be loosening up instead of getting tighter. Hope it gets better soon.
