I deadlifted with the BIG GIRL PLATES today. 135 x 5. I probably could have gone higher, but I am still new to the heavy lifting and wanted to make sure my form remained intact so that I wouldn't hurt myself.

Chuckles9189: I just started last month. You won't believe how fast you get your max up. I started at about 85 lbs and added 10 or 20 lbs per week. Gotta love them beginner gainz!0

great progress, and good call. That's why many of those programs have you progress by only so much each week, just to practice getting form down until it's natural.0
