Right I need help, weight watchers is too expensive to keep using their site. So I need to work out how many calories I need for the amount of pro points Im using. I get 29pp which Ive been told works out at 1500 cals but then you get lots of fruits and veg for 0 points so how do I work this out on MFP anyone????

Sorry I thought you just posted this question to your friends.

I do both. It's interesting because I typically use all my PP but have calories left over at the end of the day. I think this is because I drink a glass of wine most nights which uses a lot of my PP. I just make sure I'm not under 1200 calories per day. I like being under on my calories most days because I typically use all my 49 weekly points on the weekend and so end up over my calorie goal on Sat. and Sun. I try to look at it as a weekly deficit instead of a daily deficit. It's been working pretty well but I only have a few more pounds to lose and as you know those are always the hardest.

Just as background, I get 26 PP per day and I eat between 1200-1400 calories a day. 1440 is my TDEE minus 10%.

don't know what you mean by "pro points"
    everyone gets the following...
~ their daily points - given by WW themselves.
~ activity points - you earn through your activity. based on the ease of what you do, or if you wear a heart rate monitor, estimates to about 80 calories burned = 1 AP.
~ everyone gets 49 weekly points - these are used anyway you want, can use them all in one day, spread them out, as needed.

I get 26 pts a day and it never works out to reach my cal goal on MFP. I also noticed that i need to eat a lot more foods to get to my calorie goal on MFP, when logging the food in for a day counting cal i was estimating 34-35 pp!!!! which now tells me why i was stalled when trying to lose.

WW creates points on the nutritional value of the food so when trying to count cal the nutritional is completely different. which is why i went back to ww because it works better for me all around. I'm satisfied food wise on ww so i've ditched the cal counting all together.
