I have a few questions, I don't eat a lot of bread, eat greek yogurt, fruits and veggies, cheese, milk, and eat a lot more chicken and fish than beef. So that would make it Primal right. I was just wondering because a friend of mine follows the primal diet and has had great luck on it. When I get groceries what should I steer clear of to make my losses even more. I go walking/hiking 3-4x week and have had a decent loss, but want to have a greater one. I am trying to get rid of my sugar cravings and I think this will help. You can also add me as a friend on here also.

Welcome! I am new to the primal/paleo lifestyle here, but it does sound like you are more "primal". Right now I am staying away from dairy as much as possible and more or less trying not to eat anything processed...which isn't easy in a busy spring, but I am making it work! I know you said you didn't eat bread too often, but are you also staying away from rice and beans? That was honestly tougher for me than the bread kick. As for sweets (besides fruit), if you like coconut, you can feed you sweet tooth with Larabar bars....my fav is the coconut cream pie! There are also numerous dark chocolate/nut/coconut recipes you can look into. Again, welcome to the website and the life change! :happy:0

If you want to know more about primal, check out Mark's Daily Apple if you haven't already.
I've been pretty much primal since last summer, and it works well for me! I had already cut bread and pasta out before I started getting serious about eating primal, so I think that made the switch a little easier. I definitely miss black beans and rice sometimes. Sugar cravings are tough--I'm a chocoholic for sure, but this has helped. Good luck!0 -
beans, rice and bread are not "primal".
Some people are able to tolerate rice and on occasion this is fine.
It is best to check out some primal readings
