This is a virtual race: you can race at the place and time you choose, as long as you enter your results by “Race Day” which is Sunday, May 12, 2013. You will even get a race tshirt!
Some of the proceeds will go to Athletes Serving Athletes! Their goal is $1,000.00 (They need 500 virtual racers to reach that goal.) This is a fantastic organization located in Maryland, USA.

I think you pay $20 for a t-shirt and it's on the honor system. If you want to say you ran a 10k with an 8 minute mile, it's on you. I don't think many runners would do that though...it's not a Boston qualifier and we're a little bit crazy when it comes to accountability.0
