    Good morning all!!!!

So, thanks to the Hunger Games Challenge, I just completed my first week of weighing (and measuring) and I have my first ever MFP SCALE VICTORY. I can't even believe it!!! It's MASSIVE!! Is this what it's like for all you weighers every week?!?!?! IDK, I think I had a big WHOOSH....but I'm very, very happy. So................drumroll please...........I've lost 3.2 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!! I lost in the measurements in every place except the left arm (my toddler-carrying arm). WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!

So there you have it! (yay)

As for today, it's the last day of school* for my son (thought it was yesterday, but got a call from another parent this morning and suddenly had to get him ready and out the door!). And my husband has an appointment today, so I'll have both kids after school. I foresee bringing them home to crash out and then playing the rest of the evening by ear. So, no park walk/jog today. I'll try to get some more HG exercises done at home and see if a workout video is a possibility too.

    TGIF Ev'body!!!!

Hi all! Today was a rest for me, but I'm going to the zoo after work with hubby and son, so some walking (toddler wrangling) will be involved, that's just about the right speed for me today!
Sherry: great job!!!! isn't it amazing to see progress?

Have a great day everyone (as per my resolution, I promise to sign in tomorrow and sunday!)

    Congrats Sherry... Awesome.....

I am in the tweaking of my diet phase in life. I am going to try protein shakes/smoothies for breakfast and let lunch be the heavier meal then light dinner.

I will check back in after my workout... have a great Friday.... weekend came fast for me

TGIF!! The weeks just roll by so so fast! I was MIA on Thursday because of just plain ole busy busy stuff to do but did get in a 60 minute walking session outdoors. I'll go update under the April 25, 2013 thread.

This morning I woke with sore leg muscles probably from the walking around our very uneven terrain last evening. This morning I did 41 minutes of P90X Back & Biceps going up to 12.5 weight set this session. I didn't do the last 4 exercises out of 24 only because my biceps were SPENT! I will say it was a great session overall. I am officially done with my workout week and completed week 4 of 4 for this rotation. Now, time to plan a regimen for the next four weeks.

Sherry: BIG congrats on seeing such quick results from the Hunger Games Challenge...WOW!! Those are some EXCELLENT results! I can imagine you are on cloud nine feeling good about all that hard work so keep it going. Have a really nice day.

Toni: it will be interesting to hear your take on how you end up feeling and the results as you tweak your diet phase.

Alright, guess I'll go play catch up on some comments missed on Thursday....have a great weekend!

    That's Fantastic, WTG!

Today is a rest day. I didn't get very much sleep last night so plan to put it the work tomorrow!

Sherry: good luck finding compression socks. I have a good friend that suffered with shin splints in her earlier days as a runner (one year ago) and she had terrible shin splint issues. She did the icing, compression socks, and even went to a store to be professionally fitted for the right shoes. She had to be trained on how to run "correctly", too. She participates in monthly 1/2 marathons now and I haven't heard her complain about the shin splints. I'll inquire with her how she overcame them.

Dina: I didn't want to get up this morning...just felt tired and got up late...9am. Enjoy that rest day!

Sam: what a great event your school participated in and raised a GOOD amount of money, too! Such a fun way to get in that exercise on Thursday...lol.

Pam, I'd love to hear how your friend worked it out. Probably learning to run a certain way. I do try to run "correctly", but one lil mistake and ugh!
Good for you getting through your 4 week plan once again! I think workout planning and creating accountability is an amazing strategy and I thank you for introducing that aspect to the group. Happy REST weekend!

Happy REST day to you Dina!

Toni, good luck with the diet portion tweaking. It has to be tweaked from time to time.

Carley, have a great REST day at the ZOO!!

Today, I just about killed my legs pushing through as many more side lunges as I could. Same with pushups. And tonight I did Today's Fitness Blender "hot off the presses" new workout, "Fat Burning Cardio Workout - 37 Minute Fitness Blender Cardio Workout at Home ". LOVED it. Nice and simple. A few too many lunges included in it for my aching legs, but I got through it. Gonna hafta rest my poor, tired legs tomorrow.

Happy FRIDAY! Happy WEEKEND! Happy SPRING! Oh, and Happy Birthday to my husband on Sunday! (That might have to be an "off the record" eating day! haha!)

We're having a wine tasting party at our house today so..bring on the calories! lol... Might not get too much of a workout in, but I plan to do a little yoga and possibly one of those in bed workouts on youtube. I have a baby shower tomorrow, but I plan to get a workout done in the morning (hopefully an intense one!)

TGIF! It took a few days, but I finally think I got my working out back on track as well as better eating. Now I just have to continue through this weekend and then I know I'm back on track. Today I completed a 2.4 mile run, as the base calls it, a fun run. Each month it is to support a monthly awareness. This month was sexual assault. It was a nice run and for me, the first on a street and hill incline and decline since my injury. I think my time was must over 30 mins, which I will greatly focus on decreasing. I opted out of playing dodgeball for the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. I wasn't too keen on the idea of being a target. And the sad thing, when the highest ranking enlisted member joined by my side, all of a sudden I find myself dodging balls even out of the game!
Tomorrow, I hope I wake before my baby and get JM 30DS in, if not, I'll wait until my mother is awake. We will also go to the mall to shop a little and I know that I will get some walking in there, as well as getting her ears pierced. For the rest of the day/weekend, I have no idea what is in store!
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend! A wine tasting does sound nice.

I went for a 5 mile run on the treadmill, completed a Chest/Back workout routine and rowed for 4 minutes
