So my weight isn't moving, I've been on the scale twice in 3-4 weeks and it just hasn't budged its been down .2 and up .2. Shockingly I'm not overly depressed HA but I'm wanting suggestions?? I eat via the tdee method and I'm also a nursing mom. I lift 3-4 days a week and do insanity 4-5 days a week. I walk 3-4 days a week and run during some of those walks, my exercise hours average 5-9. I definitely get my fruits a vegetable servings in as well and met with w nutritionist who set up my macros.

When was the last time you did a reset and at at TDEE maintenance? Eating at maintenance 1 week every 4-6 weeks will keep your metabolism burning at its optimal level. Also, I don't read any rest days in your exercises. I would back off the Insanity workouts and build in a couple of rest days following your lifting days. Just a suggestion. Depending upon your current deficit level you may have too much stress from exercise and eating deficits to lose weight.0

Too much exercise does not help weight loss. It will hinder it. Also have you taken measurements? Just reading what you do for workouts is mind boggling and in my opinion a lot and maybe even unnecessary. There is really no need to do 2/3 workouts per day. There are a lot of factors here. Your deficit may be too big, do you eat your nursing calories?
a reset is eating tdee 4-8 weeks. A diet break is a week.0 -

Oh ok lol. Yes tdee is assuming normalcy for men and women and women who are not pregnabt or nursing. I think I've seen 300 calories for nursing but you would have to search for that. Wow that is impressive!! Thats a lot of inches. Body fat is more important than scale weight and you should find it out. It can make a huge difference on your perspective of your journey.0

I'd be willing to bet that when you back off from Insanity a bit, you'll drop some weight. I did the "30 Day Slimdown" program where you rotate some of Jillian Michael's DVDs. You end up working out 6 days a week. I ran in addition to this. I lost just a few pounds after 30 days of this. The next month I just walked, and ended up dropping 8 pounds.0

Crazy!!! I do love insanity though and it's definitely dropping inches0 -
Very curious about this - why would you lose less exercising more? Is it about stress hormones? What exactly happens?0

The inches dropped is a good thing. It means your body is getting some fuel and changing its composition. The scale may not reflect the success though. My suggestion is to put the scale away for a bit and just concentrate on eating and working out..
That said... If you are going to keep that kind of a workout schedule, then you need to make sure you are eating to sustain it. Are you using the strenuous level for figuring out your TDEE/Cut? Also nursing.. that alone would be 300-500 extra cals ON TOP of your Cut value.. Is your Baby exclusively nursing or on solids too? If on solids, you can probably go with around 300.. if it just nurses, then go for 500 and see what happens.
Have you taken a rest week? That means no videos, no weights, just active rest (walking, yoga, moving more).. this is when changes will happen. If you work your body so much but dont give it ample rest, you cant see the changes and your muscles get fatigued.. Take a rest week.
Dont be afraid to eat... Believe me, I know how hard to is to grasp how high your TDEE could be, but Please make sure you are bumping your cals up and not down!0 -

Because you put your body into fatigue, most people think workout out more and eating less is how to lose weight, but in actuality you do far more damage to your metabolism. You dont need to workout for hours on end, or even everyday to see results.. but whatever you do, you need to make sure your body is fueled for sustaining your workouts0 -

^^^this. Exercise, eating at a deficit, life in general are stressors on the body and it will impede fat loss. Too much of any of those 3 will stall weight loss. Cardio 7x a week 2 hours a day and eating below BMR is a formula for a fat loss stall waiting to happen.0
