I feel that i have stopped progressing on my weight lifting. The only the i seem to be progressing on is my deadlift. everything else seems to be going backwards. Any advice would be appreciated

In before SS or Sara ask the inevitable question.

What are you doing now, whats your goals?

Well my goal is to lose body fat and get down to 200lbs. I'm down 70 already. Currently lifting 5-6 days a week.

What lifting program are you doing?

When you say 'going backwards' - is the amount you can lift decreasing? And if so, by how much?

I am not doing a lift program, just 5x5 lifts for everything and yes i would say the amount that i can lift for certain excercises has gone down by about 10-15 lbs

Can you please type out what lifts you are doing even if you don't refer to this as a particular program?

I would like to understand your total training volume since this is one thing that can be manipulated when you're having strength issues.

    What lifts have gone down?

If you can give us an example of one of the lifts you are having the most problems with - what they were (weight and reps) and what they are now.
