Hi All,

Does anyone need to still purchase the Insanity Program or any other the other items like Shakeology to go along w/ the Insanity?

If so, I am actually a Team BeachBody coach.

Just let me know :)

Also happy to answer any questions I can.

Oh thats awesome to have a Team Beachbody coach in the group! I've heard about shakeology, but I don't know much about it, I'm poor so i'm using my friends copy of insanity along with what's available on youtube! haha
What different kinds of shakes are available?

The Shakeology shakes come in 2 flavors: chocolate, tropical strawberry, and greenberry. They also offer the chocolate and tropical strawberry in a Vegan option. It is the consistency of whey protein powder, but mixes up a lot thicker. It is actually a mixture of roughly a dozen super foods (fruits, veggies, greens, grains). I like it because I used to make my own shakes (spinach +fruit+Whey). But this is just so much easier and faster; no cutting up fruit or veggies and having to worry about my produce going bad. And also, these keep me full for almost a full hour more than the ones I was making did. :) See the link for more info or feel free to ask me.

From a food logging perspective / overall = 160 calories. 17 carbs. 2g of fat. 17g of protein. 6g of sugar. It's made up of 70+ ingredients leading to 5ish servings of fruits/veggies.

The vegan chocolate is a lot lighter and not as thick as the regular chocolate. The vegan chocolate is the only one I drink now. I love it with some almond butter, sometimes a banana. There are many different ways to make it...Kind of like many different ways of making smoothies! What made you stop making smoothies? I was doing the 30 day green smoothie challenge by Young and Raw on FB but stopped on Day 15...I wanna get back to it and finish it up though. They were SOO yummy!!! :)

ahahah. I hear you on that. That was honestly the main reason I never tried them before. To answer your question, they - like insanity - are only available for purchase through a coach/ on the website. It sounds expensive when you initially here the numbers... However, it breaks down to $4/smoothie. I drink them every day. If you drink them on occasion.. you're one package would obviously last you longer. Also, if you drink them daily you can signup for the autoshipment each month and save a little bit each month. Now, as far as the $4 a day goes... it might sound like a lot, but when you think about what all is in them, how much you're saving compared to buying (and potentially throwing away) produce.. as well as not having to keep anything fresh or cut it up or wash it, it is well worth it. I mean, if I put a cup of blueberries in my smoothie each day, that's pushing $2 or more right there (add the spinach and the whey... and you can see where it could add up). Versus a fixed $4/day. (billed once as $130/month.)

Some of the benefits to the shakes (as I discussed above, but in a more formal manner) include:

Ingredients derived from whole-food sources deliver the daily vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients your body needs to curb cravings, allowing it to shed stored fat.

More than 20 different antioxidants and phytonutrients help reduce free radical damage that can lead to heart disease, heart attacks, high blood pressure, and stroke.

Fiber, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes help your body gently eliminate toxins more efficiently and promote better absorption of nutrients.*
