Don't know if this is right or wrong, but I've been saving 2 meals to eat right before I go to bed...otherwise I am starving! Anyone else do this???? Is this ok?

When I was on the program, I would space my meals out so that my dinner was around 7pm, then I would eat my final meal around 9:30pm (with a bed time of 10:30 or 11pm).0

I never doubled up when I was on program because I wanted to stay in fat burn. If your really hungry you can have your optional snack at that time too. I have always been told that I should have my last meal within an hour of going to sleep.
Hope this helps.0 -
Huh. I used to eat 2 meals at once in the mornings. The chocolate chip pancake mix was too small for me to deal with a single packet, so I always put 2 packets together to make 1 big pancake. I did that on weekends at 8am, and again around 10am. By noon, I had 4 of my Medifast meals eaten. Didn't hinder my weight loss in the slightest. I always tended to be hungrier earlier in the day, and never ate after 6pm.0

You can do it the way you want and if your losing weight and getting healthier I say do what works for you. The science behind the program is based on eating 6 small meals a day, every 2.5-3 hours to balance your blood sugars. Thats the 5 & 1 but I have seen people veer from the way it's laid out and still be happy with their success. I just wanted to feel good and fat burn felt better than a severe calorie deficit. Its up to you.0

I save one for right before bed. Ambien makes me hungry and ruins my willpower. So that's what I do.0

I never know how late I'm going to end up staying awake, so I try to save those last two as long as I can, and often double up before I sleep. Got away with it for months, but hit a plateau recently and I'm kicking the habit. Trying Kava tea to relax and be sleepy.0

I was told it is best to double up than to skip a meal but other than that. It's good.0

I usually save something sweet for right before bed... within an hour of going to sleep I'll eat a brown or something. It's not THAT many calories so you should be fine.. I've been losing weight.0
