Hi! I started the shred this week and today is L1 D5 for me. I've completed the shred once before several years ago with amazing results. After another pregnancy, loads of stress, and a lot of pounds, I am finally ready to get serious about my health and my weight. So, bring it, Jillian!!! (JK, Jillian! Iloveyoupleasedon'thurtme!)

Hello Everyone! I just started the shred today… My goal is to lose between 10-15 pounds of fat, and replace some of that with muscle. I am happy with my body, but it could always be better!

My 30DS goal is to be more fit and become stronger. My husband and I are also starting to think about kids, and I'd love to have an established daily exercise routine before getting pregnant so that I could exercise regularly during pregnancy and be able to recover faster post-pregnancy.
In terms of measurable goals, I'd like to eventually get down to 145 pounds (have never been at that weight as an adult), be under 28" in my natural waist, and get to about 24% body fat (currently 28.5%). I doubt I'll get to 145lbs in less than 30 days (my weight loss has slowed as I've gotten closer to goal), but getting to 151 would be awesome.0 -

Today will be Day 3 Level 1 for me, but my measurements are about the same as about a week ago (took them again to be certain I was getting the right ones.)

I would love at the end of 30DS if I could fit into my size 16 jeans. Even if they're tight and I can't wear them out yet, that would be an accomplishment! I'd also love if I could be a solid XL shirt.

After a while I will probably stop taking measurements of my arms and legs they are already small, although untoned. It's hard to take the measurement in the same place every time in those areas, so once it starts looking toned I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm afraid one small displacement of the measurement tape will make me think I lost or gained when I actually haven't. I didn't even bother taking my calves for this reason. My main concerns are my hips, waist and chest/back.0
