Hey, my name is Lauran I'm 22 living in Southern Cali and working towards my first bikini competition. So far I'm doing it without a coach, but we'll see how long that lasts before I cave and get some help. Last week started studying for my PT cert, really looking forward to the opportunity to be able to work with women and open them up to the world of weight lifting
Anyone else want to introduce themselves?

Hey Lauran,
I am Corey Guess. I am natural bodybuilder trying to go pro. I started in 2007 after gaining a 60+lbs after tearing my ACL playing college soccer. I am a Cert. PT but work fulltime in software sales.
You goal is awesome. You are not just preaching you are living the life and I can respect that.
Please list the date and location of your contest so C.T Army members in and around your area can attend.

HI!
Rochelle here Software Developer by day and gym rat in the early morning hours. Currently cutting for my first ever NPC fitness competition (bikini division). April 20th in Flint MI. Currently going it along just pulling information from various sources and new friends to point me in the right direction for competition prep. I've been heavy lifting for over a year. I stared using MFP 2 years ago when I realized with macroni and cheese and beer that I had gained 20 pounds. I was never in the 'overweight' category for my height but I was hitting the top of lean and my pants didn't fit anymore.0 -
Rochelle,
I would like to get t-shirts to all C.T Army competitors and possibly attend your competition or have C.T Army member who can.
What is the name of your show, what is the date and what city is it in?0 -

My name is Ruthie. I am a certified PT, but full time Soldier (HOOAH!). I am married, but do not have any children. I am a bikini/figure competitor. My team owner thinks my body type can translate into both. He says 1st place finish in bikini, top 5 placement for figure. I am currently doing twoadays. Weights and cardio in the AM, and cardio in the PM. I coach myself :-)
My next competition will be in Atlanta. I'm going to be in the Women's Open Figure (pro qualifier) SNBF GA State Championships, on April 6th. More than likely I will also compete in the Charlotte Cup on April 27th, in Charlotte, NC with other Team Evolution Online members. If I do this one, I will be in figure and bikini.0 -
Hi, my name is Michelle and Im a 19 year old Nursing student! I first joined mfp back in March 2011 as a young and naive 17 year old who wanted to lose the weight asap....I ate 1200 and exercised and yes, lost 20+ lbs, however I was hungry, miserable and felt guilty whenever I ate 'anything' that was considered unhealthy!! This lead me to binging, now I dont mean the odd binge.....I mean full on daily binges!! I know people may put some sort of medical term to it and say i need help, but I honestly know I can stop....i just need to be in the right mind frame! You can guess I gained back all of the weight and then some more!!
So fast forward to today!! I am slowly getting better! I am following a plan where I eat bmr for 6 days a week and low carb, and then have one 'spike day' a week where I can enjoy all the foods I have been steering clear of during the week. Ive recently started this, but so far, no binging at all!!
I'm 5'5" and weigh somewhere between 180 and 190lbs, not too sure as I have no scales ever since I moved over to london from back home. I would love to weigh somewhere in the region of 135lbs and fit into a size 10 uk!! I wanna be able to lose the weight and keep it off!
When I qualify as a nurse, I dont want to be one of those fat unhealthy ones, and I certainly dont want to be one who has to live by the motto...'Do as I say, not as I do!' I wanna lead by example!0 -
