Really haven't lost any weight yet...I think I've been eating a little more by about 200 calories a day - which I needed to this close to maintenance and I probably have gained some muscle so I'm not discouraged yet...buuuut almost haha. How are you all doing??

I always say (in everything in life) you're either moving forwards or backwards. So in my book no weight lost is FORWARDS! haha

Good progress on the training front last week. Running mileage up and pace improving. Downside is I ate too many calories this weekend. Gave myself permission to slack off, but that's over.

Found renewed focus, thanks to my friendly neighborhood trainer. After 10 minutues of warmup exercises, we did a simple fitness test of 3 exercises:
First 4 minutes - as many pushups as possible, no cheating(chest hitting floor on each rep, but knees can NOT touch)
Next 3 minutes - as many crunch style situps as possible - start laying flat on floor, hands on chest, then sit up & grab ankles
Last 1 minute - Kettlebell deadlifts.

Lots of sweat produced. Never knew 8 minutes could last so long.

We'll do this again next month to measure progress

Hey there guys! So I decided to increase my cals by 100-200 along with doing the Shred with 8 lbs dumbbells and I've been trying to do cardiovascular as well if my time permits and I gained a little less than a lb. I can definitely see more muscle definition in my legs and biceps so I am happy about that. I'm still trying to "re-train" my mind about scale vs body...
There are days I have absolutely no motivation whatsoever and feel like just quitting but I snap out of it pretty quickly. I went to the Dr not to long ago and I think my thyroid is messed up so I have been stressing about it and worried. I will find out for sure on Monday.
