Day 7 - 80 Squats

Good morning everyone! Can you believe that we are on Day 7 - one FULL week into this challenge!! Wow!!

I don't know about you, but I have yet to finish a challenge in its entirety. I am so excited that I have made it this far - and actually feel like I can make it through all 31 days.

80 squats completed today - 40 plie squats and 40 regular squats.

Would love to hear some other types of squats that you are doing!!

    I do sumo squats with 5 lbs. In my hand. 80 done for the day

    Just finished 80! I did a slightly wider squat, I don't think it's wide enough to be sumo though and used my barbell minus any weight. It helps with keeping form and your chest up, I think so at least!

    How much does your barbell weigh?
    I've been doing my squats in form to practice for adding a bar but I've never used one before.

    We have the skinny light ones at the gym. I plan to figure out how to use them safely to squat with eventually.

    Done - 40 straight on, 40 sumo.

    I'll say, I'm glad I'm doing this challenge... I really don't feel like going to the gym today, and having to stick to the squat challenge at least gets my heart beating for a minute or two :) Didn't feel a lot of burn today, though :/ I'm sure day 9 I will, though!

    Done! Really starting to feel it. I just started working out again so I'm just doing plain old bodyweight squats.

    I played tennis for 2 hours and was a bit afraid of adding the squats. After resting and having dinner I did 4 sets of 20.....80 done :-)

    Done, 80 regular ol squats. I had to force myself a little more to do them tomorrow beacuse I waited so long to get started tonight. Thankfully, this is a challenge and I would really like to finish it...and tomorrow is a rest day.

    Did my 80 squats yesterday after work, my legs are starting to really feel it now!! Rest day today :)
