Well I am at the car place now fighting the urge to get something at the vending machine. I have my strawberries with but I still am soooo tempted to get something from that machine and i don't even want to go that way. That is why i brought an apple and strawberry. 2 of my favorite fruits but I still have the urge to go to vending machine and my day has been great so far. So I decided to come here and hopefully they will come soon so I can leave here!
Have a good weekend and get out and MOVE IT!! The weather here in Chicago is supposed to be awesome! :flowerforyou:0 -

Thanks Meea!! I did give into one item but not a bad one and that was great for me because usually I eat 3 or more. I did eat some of the stuff I brought but not all. I had a Costco Hot Dog Thursday!! I have to squeeze in one or 2. Yesterday I took my Dad a fried chicken snack from Popeyes and I fought the urge to get me one and succeeded!! Yay!! I had my grilled chicken from KFC with green beans and mashed potatos and no biscuit. I love their grilled chicken too!!

As for me, I kinda went back on the FF track this week. =( I had a lot of events to attend to this week and a lot of them involved FF. I literally had french fries 3 days in a row (ugghh!) and Indian buffet today. Also, I didn't exercise for the last 3 days which made me feel all yucky inside. Today, after the Indian buffet, I said to myself, "I need this to stop!" So to compensate for the buffet, I ran and boy did it feel good to run! Burn calories, burn! lol, Tomorrow, I am committed to having no FF!

I'm new to this group and am trying so hard to break the fast food chain for my health and bank account's sake. What helps? I'm honestly getting to a point where I am about to start leaving my money and debit card at home because I just can't stay away. It's that bad. What has worked for you all?0 -
I'm back!!! Sorry for being MIA for so long! I had a lot of things going on...last month was not a good month for me and so far this month has not been so good. =( I went to Disneyland last weekend and eat whatever I wanted and also did not log so I lost my streak! I think I was around 350 days of logging but now it's gone. So sad but it's ok. Tomorrow is a new day! Gonna start logging again and trying to get back on track!
@ Mollie - Great job on getting no hot dog at Costco! Keep it up!
@ chava - Leaving money/debit card at home is a way to start. Also, start bringing your lunch to work so you don't have to eat out. I have been going through phases, I'll do go on some months, others not so good. But having this thread helps me a lot. When I'm about to eat fast food, I think of this thread and then not eat it! We are here for you! If you have any questions or you want to vent, go ahead and do it here! We're all here to support each other!!!

Welcome chava!! To add to Meea suggestions, when I am feeling weak I leave my purse in the trunk of my car. I also keep almonds, skinny pop popcorn, other healthy non perishables too. Plan like Meea says and get some substitues for you favorites too.

So I started this beachbody program called Insanity last week and I can feel myself getting stronger each day! With that, I have been eating good and it feels great!

so great to be a part of this strong group... I've caught up on my reading here from victory for fried chicken, moving past the Indian buffet, tips on leaving purses and debit cards etc. in the trunk or car for strength... I've gathered lots of wisdom over reading the last number of pages from you all...

I also agree strongly...having this group, small and mighty as it may be is a HUGE help... to have a FF thought and to know it might mar my record that day:blushing: or toss me into a FF war with myself:noway: ... those things help so much.

Why is a grocery store a fast food dive!! lol!! Anyways had my Costco hotdog and Chineese food. I did pretty good at chineese food. The brocolli and chicken was great! Went to Costcos and said what the heck I have already did fast food today. Now to see if I can hold it to 5! I am so getting back on track Tuesday!
