20-30 sometings: toughest thing about being single for you?

I am not really the casual sex sort. So unless I am dating, I am SOL.
Me too!
How YOU doin?
me three0 -
The photographic evidence of my badass adventures are all lonely self portraits.
^ Pretty much! Sometimes can be a good thing but sharing certain things can just make them that little much more awesome!0 -
Coming home to no one. I live alone, and I really yearn for companionship.0

growing up i never really got affection from family, as i grew up the youngest of four (3 older sisters) and my mum brought us up,
Weve never really been an affectionate family, we hardly ever tell each other we love each other, let alone hug or kiss.
So when i've been with girls im really affectionate, lots of kisses and cuddles, but not too clingy! So i guess being single i miss that.
I dont like being the third wheel if i go out with couple friends, etc.
EDIT: dont really come on here much, so hey everyone0 -
Oh, I really miss sex too. Sex was fun.
Ive heard that single people have way more sex than married people - just sayin.
Am I somehow married and not aware of it then?
Maybe we're married and didn't know it? :smokin: Cuuuuz, yeah, none here either.0 -
Just... getting to that age where most of my peers are married, or at least act like it. Everyone I meet around my age is either married or still acts like they're in college (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not for me, not even when I was in college myself.)
Not that I'm in any real hurry to be in a serious relationship, but I'm not very good at being a single guy either.0 -
When I am single, I often forget to clear the browser history on my computer. Occasionally it will operate slowly. Midget bondage porn can really drag a hard drive down.
What a *****.0 -
I'm jumping on the sex bandwagon.
But also having someone to cook for and drink with- sounds weird, but that's what I miss.0 -

I realized TODAY that all of my friends are either married or engaged. It's not like I'm old, but I'm starting to feel like a spinster. I'm going to be a crazy gym lady (I don't get along with cats)0 -

If I am being honest, this is a large part of it for me. I really miss having someone to laugh and be dorky with, to cook awesome food for/with, and just feel close to.0 -

Bwahahaaa... OMG, I hear ya! Being single I can text whatever guys I want... If I'm somewhat committed I have to knock that crap out OR..... delete, delete, delete.... I usually just don't play around.0 -

My roommate has a total phobia of commitment - she seriously takes a week to decide on whether or not to keep a freakin' pair of shoes... and she's on her way to a relationship. What?!0 -

this. i'm a very affectionate person. I miss having someone to to cuddle with while sleeping in late, cuddle and watch a movie, hug, kiss, hold hands, etc. and just in general the feeling of knowing you have someone who will always have your back.
friends are great and all but they will always put their own significant others ahead of you.0 -

And then there are the totally crazy, weird people that you know who are engaged/married and you're like, "oh god am I really that awful??"0 -
friends are great and all but they will always put their own significant others ahead of you.
Men who do not follow this usually isolate themselves gradually (I know I've been there). So yeah... always have a spare moment for your friends.0 -

yes. the cooking for and drinking with. There's nothing like a full tummy, wine, a cig and award winning sex.0 -

actually I much rather guy friends. I have always had more guy friends than girl friends because I have the same mentality. unless u are married, SO's come and go and there is no use in letting them come between you and your friends. i'm finding it harder to have guy friends now without them wanting or expecting more tho, oh well. :ohwell:0 -
Being 20-30 and married was much worse than being 20-30 single.
Personally I am quite alright with it0 -

I just shot you a high five through the internet.word! I didnt have to miss out on ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're damn right!0 -
Companionship, definitely. That and knowing I can count on someone other than my family "24/7" emotionally, is what I miss.
Back to being single after 2 month stint of bliss and 3 months of long distance days and talking/texting non stop. Also doesn't help this person is 2,000 mi away from me in another country.0 -
Instead of having trouble getting sex, it seems that's all guys do want from me. They'll play the relationship card until sex happens, then poof, and just want to be a booty call.
Also, it's the loneliness. That's the killer. Rainy days, holidays, being the 7th WHEEL, every day after work coming home to nothing. It gets really old.0
