Hi all!!
Are you ready for Week 3?!
I know I am! I'm ready to get back on track and feel awful that I haven't been able to participate as much as I wanted to due to graduation and an unexpected out of state funeral.
What are your goals for this week? Have you been meeting your goals each week? What are you going to do differently during Week 3? Are you going to try something new?
I can't believe May is already half way over!

My goal this week is to burn 3,000 calories. I think it will be impossible to catch up to 16,000 since my first two weeks did not go well so I am focusing on each week but also making sure to not injure myself.
Something new I am trying: as much as I love counting calories on MFP, it hasn't helped me lose weight but rather has helped maintain my weight (I am not happy with my weight so I'm not sure if this is even a good thing.) I tried WeightWatchers a few years back and it helped me lose some weight so I am trying it out again. If anyone else is doing WW along with MFP, please let me know! I would love to find a buddy

Still nursing the injured back but getting a couple thousand of burn in each week even so. Helped that I was towing one of the twins on a trailer bike during Sunday's 2+ hour ride. Hoping PT referral comes through to get some help with clearing this up. The lack of nearly daily exercise is seriously depressing me I want to train!0

Aiming for 2000 this week. I came just short of my goal of 1800 this past week because I had to take an extra rest day due to soreness, but I think now that I'm adjusting to being at the gym regularly again the DOMS won't be so debilitating haha. If I can work out 5 times this week I should reach my goal easily.0

I'm planning to redeem myself and get my *kitten* back on track. Week 2 has been lousy and emotional. I'm job hunting and there's just too much pressure. With every rejection, my self-confidence lessens and self-pity grows. I hate myself for doing that.
Week 3 is very exciting for me. I'll be spending 3 of those days in Venice, sightseeing. It also means a LOT of walking and hiking. But I need to remember to go easy on pastas and pizzas. Will be hard but I'm surely going to try.
It would be great if I get to 2000 cals at least this week.

Holy moly! I can't believe that I burned that many calories last week but I really tried hard.
This week I'm down determined to burn the same amount goal 2500
Its my anniversary weekend so we're going to go up to Hyde park and do a lot of walking/hiking and I'm actually looking forward to it :-)
I want to do more strength training
I want to get at least 3 lunch walks in and shave off 5 minutes of my time0 -

I am sticking with my same goal as last week. This weekend I am on the move - headed out of town to watch my daughter compete in the our State Track Meet so I know that I will not have Fri/Saturaday to work out! By leaving the same goal it will make me work harder on the other days!0 -

I must say - for me - I KICKED BUTT YESTERDAY!!! I burned 804 calories!!! :glasses: I'M SO PUMPED!!! :bigsmile:

My goal for the week is the same - 516 calories daily. So that's 3,612 for the week.
It's going to be challenging this weekend as DH and I are opening the cottage and I won't be able to do any of my 4 regular exercise actives. No hockey. Too buggy in the woods to run. Too much of a hassle to bring the bikes because it's water access and I don't have a mountain bike so can't ride the trails in the woods. Can't leave the bikes on the car at the marina because I don't want them to get stolen. The ice went out late this year so it will be too cold to swim. Oh, and did I mention? It's May 24. What comes in cases of 24? BEER!
Yup, it's gonna be a challenge for sure. In preparation for the weekend, I have not had a drink since hockey on Monday night (and that was one light beer). I have tried to get ahead in my calories burned by doing a double workout yesterday (W1D2 of C25K and going swimming), and tonight DH and I plan to go on a ~90 minute bike ride. Tomorrow morning I'll do W1D3 of C25K and then we're off to the cottage. As I will be doing a lot of activity on the property - setting up the water intake/priming the pump, putting the boats in the water, cleaning up the winter debris, cleaning the inside, I will burn some calories. But I KNOW I'll be over calories on food/booze. I'll just try my best not to binge too hard. That's the best I can do, short of not going - and that's just simply not an option.0 -

I've done 2010 so far, and plan to work every remaining day, including Sunday (but lightly), which is usually my day off. So hopefully I can go over my goals. Now if I can manage not to stuff my face with all sorts of weekend treats, that's another story0 -
