I believe this is a first time post here, I respond to plenty of topics but I don't believe I have posted a topic. Last weekend I went on vacation and during the my vacation I was sending "updates" via MFP to a Very Cute Friend who requested some updates.

My Vacation...started by driving to Scottsdale, AZ on Thursday Morning making some "very" good time in the new car and managed to avoid police so no speeding tickets for me. Upon arrival in Scottsdale I found out my buddy Clayton has given up drinking beer (OH NO, I though) but quickly found out he switched to GIN and Diet Tonic becuase he wanted to drop a few pounds. (It appears it is working for him the change from beer to diet gin and tonic cut a few hundred calories a day) So Thursday night the GIN hit me hard and I believe there were a few "messages" sent that night but nothing that should be repeated on such a family friendly site like MFP.

Waking up Friday Morning with a GIN hangover was not the way I wanted to start the vacation (yes, the vacation starts on Friday when we drive from Scottsdale to Rocky Point, Mexico. Due to some unforseen circumstances two of our "normal" crew had to drop out of the trip so 4 of us jumped in the car for the 3 hour drive "south". We were on the road at 9:30AM and two of the crew was drinking beers on the way...Me (with a GIN hangover) didn't crack a beer until 11 and of course the driver didn't drink.

As we sat down for some shrimp tacos overlooking the ocean I was on beer 5 or 6, I don't keep track of my buddies intake so who knows what their count was...on buddy says..I wonder if we could hit 20 bars this weeked. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!!

Cut Saturday morning when I finally enter the wifi password correctly and get access to the internet and as I start telling the tale of Friday the cute MFP'ed called us the wolf pack why? well we didn't lose anyone but none of us truely remember WHAT exactly happened Friday night.

Saturday at lunch the discussions went something like the following...Derrick didn't remember the fireball shots after lunch or 2 of the bars that we visited durning that time. Greg pointed out that we bought a bottle of champaign for 3 ladies that were in town I recalled it was one of their birthdays...(I cannot however recall what ANY of them looked liked as I was later told that 3 of them had face piercings that I would typically remember) I remember the tequila shots in the condo before dinner Steve didn't remember those but he remember drinking 2 bottles of red wine at the "nice" italian restaurant at dinner. Wine? We had Wine??? I couldn't of had wine I was busy chatting with the ladies that I remember NOTHING about but I had wine...My friend Steve went for a jog Saturday mornning to run off the hangover and at lunch I pointed out my calfs were killing me it was like I went running...to which Greg says your legs are sore because derrick kept jumping on your back at dinner trying to take you down and you were basically giving him piggy back rides around the restaurant. (How we didn't get kicked out still amazes ALL of us of couse it is possible that we did get kicked out) I remember the bar after dinner becuase Steve and I were dancing and I remember the "cover" band playing "party rock" I was just facinated that a band could PLAY that song using two guitars a drum kit and a keyboard (wait did they have a keyboard?)

So we finished up lunch on Saturday (I believe I provided some MFP messages) and we were on bar count of 9. Saturday we managed to continue the bar hopping and we got to 21 but we did end up clarifying the rules we didn't hit 21 bars...we had drinkins in 21 places because there really aren't that many bars in the town. We all recall Saturday night at least i recall it all because Sunday morning we all woke up hungover but we all had the exact SAME story on the drive home.....
