I am sooooo struggling. Can't really believe I' ll ever been thin. Been slightly over weight all my life but want to be slim and healthy. I'd love to see photos of people who have been in healthy weight but then lost abou ten pounds. Would also love to be buddies with anyone similar to me.
I'm 48 year year oldvfemale, 5ft 7 and weigh 148 pounds.

I'm with ya! - 42, 5'5" and 139. I was down to 132 and feeling pretty good, but I slipped up. I can use some inspiration too!!!0

I'm 5'4" and have gone from 145 to 120 this spring. Is that what you're thinking? My profile pictures, except the one I'm using right now as the main one where you can't see much, are of me above 130 lbs, though. I haven't taken any more recently.0

Those last 5-10 are hard to lose! I have been there several times and it is not easy, to get there then maintain. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling... I am 5'6", 40yo, and am maintaining around 124. Maintaining feels about the same as losing, plus a few hundred calories/day.
Check out this website, another MFP member had posted it and I thought it was pretty neat. You can enter weight/height and see photos of what people look like given the stats you enter.

All of my photos except the main one show me between 135-145, but I found some other comparison for you:
That's me raising my arms in the centre- taken last weekend.
At my heaviest ever, on the left:
As far as what I did, it just came down to being diligent. I weighed and measured absolutely everything I ate or drank, kept my calories low (right down to 1200) and did moderate amounts of cardio (treadmill running with varied incline and speed or elliptical on the hills setting) and strength training (no more than about 20 minutes a session, usually.) For me, it was as easy as tracking calories very, very carefully, because at the end of the day, losing weight is about calories in vs. calories out.0 -
Well done. What a transformation- you look great!0
