What are your macros set at?

Mine are 40p, 30c, 30f. Is this ok? My goal is to drop about 30lbs and decrease my body fat by A LOT! Should I change it?

I go back and forth between 40/30/30 (carbs, protein and fat) and 30/35/35 (carbs, protein and fat). On lifting days I do the 40/30/30 and on non-lifting days I do the 30/35/35. It's a pain in the butt to manually go in every day and change my macros but I'm usually over on fats and under on carbs so knowing my exact numbers each day has been super helpful in meeting my macros.

That's what I have mine set at and it seems to be working for me.
When I lift heavy sometimes I go over on carbs (like twinmomtwice4 sets her macros to do).

For some, the 40/30/30 may be more protein than needed. Not bad unless you do enough cardio that you need some more carbs.
    It's also more expensive.

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
  • This can be very individual.
Here is a great read on the subject of insulin sensitivity and how macros may better benefit you
according to whether you are insulin sensitive or resistant.

Your macros are the same as mine.
Roughly it works out to 1.5g protein / body weight and 0.4 fat
