Katie's intro

Hi my name is Katie. I am new to the group. my ed mentor suggested me to eat 1200 calories. I will be starting tomorrow. I have heard a lot of positive results of people eating like this. before I was eating 1600 calories my mentor suggested I eat 1200 calories. I am 5'4 inches tall and currently 175 pounds. my goal weight is to weigh 130-135 pounds.

would love to make friends who eat this amount of calories.

    I eat at 1200 calories. I have been since January (started at 1350 the end of December, but MFP changed it to 1200). I have had no problem at 1200 calories. I've learned tricks and tips to cut calories out of food. I still eat what I want, but portion control is the key. I also substitute high fat content like regular mayo for fat free mayo. I just switched from fat free milk to almond milk (loving it). It's been a work in progress, but each little things helps. Feel free to add me. I'm pretty good about staying under. Every once in a while I'll go over but not by much.

    I eat around 1200 calories, as suggested by my dietician & doctor, as well. I try to eat healthy & rarely feel overly hungry. I would be miserable if I was eating cookies or chips all day, but I feel pretty good if I eat a rounded meal (:
