Eating Clean-er Day 1

I've decided to reset my starting weight and make a pledge to eat cleaner. I've been on and off Atkins because I've been struggling with choosing the right foods, but have adopted a plan that I believe that will work for me.
My standard menu will be:
Juice (kale, cucumbers, lemon, tomato, spinach, celery, berries & stevia)
Protein (whey & unsweetened almond milk)
Fat (avocado, olive oil, mac nuts & pecans)
& Water!
Here's to a great day :drinker:

I am doing that too! No juice for me though. I am just trying to eat cleaner. Good luck! Maybe we can keep each other motivated and on track!0

I didn't drink enough water yesterday, so I plan on upping my intake today. I experienced stomach issues with the whey protein, so I decided to nix it and eat natural protein. I also decided to nix the berries because I ate too much of them which I believe in this early stage will hinder my progress. So here's to doing it again...
Day 2 Plans:
- Veggies: green juice boost (see below, minus the berries)
- Protein: tuna, chicken - hormone free, bacon – nitrate/nitrite free
- Fat: avocado, mac nuts, mayo, oil
- Supps: Fish oil, vitD, vitB, vitC, cinnamon, bilberry fruit extract, lutein, & turmeric
- Exercise: Not sure yet, but maybe a light walk0 -
I had a good day yesterday. I have been eating greek yogurt, which is not low carb (by far), but I love it and it is packed with protein.
I plan on running tonight and also taking an hour long cardio class. I have not been feeling the best. Darn Illinois weather is nuts and making my allergies go haywire. It's cold one day, then super hot the next and we've been having rain and storms for weeks now. Hopefully I will feel well enough to take the class and get a good run in. And by good, I mean I hope I can just run a mile without stopping!0 -
Hello ladies,
You both are doing great this week. I started Induction last week Monday and followed it to a T for 5 days. Then Memorial weekend happened and I had to have some drinks. lol
I just wanted to comment about the Greek Yogurt. I MISS that so much. I used to eat it every single day w/fruit. That's something else I am missing....but it's nice to know I can add that back in the future.
Good luck getting a run in, I live in Wisconsin and we have had the same weather. So annoying.
Have a great day!

Hi ladies!
It's day 3 for me and I'm doing better today. My menu is basically going to be the same for the rest of the week, but I thought I should add in more fat, so now I'll be consuming about 95g per day.
I'm not a fan of yogurt but I look forward to adding back some of my favorite foods.
We can do this!! Here's to a great day:drinker:0
