Alternatives to Dairy

Group,
I went primal about a year ago and had some good success. However I stalled I the 250's and just could not shift below. I recently cut out dairy to go paleo and have started losing again. My problem is that now I'm having a hard time reaching my fat goals for the day.
Basically I was using cheese as cheap fat to fill up my macros. Was wondering if any of you could recommend some other kind of cheap fat that was not surrounded by carbohydrate. Trying to keep it keto so carbs are an issue.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
S,

Avocado, bacon, olives, nuts, coconut oil added to anything, sometimes i add it to warm tea.
Not sure if these are too carby for you, the coconut oil should be 0 at least.0 -
I make fat bombs and I also follow the keto side of primal/paleo.
There are LOTS of recipes online for them and they take little prep time.
If you are on pinterest there are some great recipes

This - add fats to your veggies. Butter/ghee, too!
Fat bombs are good, too.0 -
I switched to unsweetend almond mild about 2 weeks ago.... I'm addicted!!!! <1 gram of carbs.0

Thanks everyone. Definitely going to check out the 'fat bombs' you mentioned. I've started cooking with coconut oil but putting it on veggies, while delicious, is counterproductive with the carb issue. That and I can only eat so much bacon.... As to butter and ghee...well no dairy means no dairy for me. Trying to cut it completely 'cause I'm just not good with moderation.0

I usually start with a base made from a combo of: coconut oil/coconut butter/butter/almond butter (I did cream cheese once, but then I need to keep it cold), then add whatever I feel like/have on hand: cinnamon, vanilla extract, shredded coconut (be sure to get unsweetened), flax seeds, etc. I just mix it in a container and eat with a spoon. It's good to take on the road (which is why I like not needing refrigeration).0 -
Wow I had never heard of these before but I think they could be useful:laugh:
Did a little prowling around on the internet as you do and came across this link-oh yeah lookin good

Going to check my kitchen and see what ingredients I have on hand to give some of these a try. Thanks for the heads up!!0 -
My favorite fat bombs are made with cocoa and almond butter and shredded coconut... omg SO GOOD! I use Truvia to sweeten them, so they're not perfect;y paleo or anything but I pick my battles. I consume a few things that aren't 100% paleo so it's not a huge deal for me. *shrugs*0

I have never heard of these either, I need to try them! I need to find unsweetened coconut. Whole foods Im guessing?0

I've found it in the baking aisle at the regular grocery (Kroger here).0
