Where do you find all the races?

I am checking everything I can but I can´t find any 5k or easy 10k here around. Seems like everyone is running at least 10k trail, better half-Marathons or Marathons. I don´t see myself running a 10k trailrun soon, a 10k in autumn would be nice so I could train for it during summerbreak. It is hard for me to stay focused on my training with no goal in the near future.
I checked some Swedish running sites as well. No 5k or plain 10k.
I wonder if I live in the wrong country for easy runs!
OK, that was my whining moment, now I get out of the house and start my day. Thanks for listening!

It's the same here, mostly 10k's and half marathons/marathons. However, last week my husband brought home the Scottish Running Guide (a free quarterly magazine) from our local sports centre. It has all the Scottish races listed and there are 6 5k's in July, only 1 in August and 3 in September, which is alot more than I was able to find on the internet. Maybe ask at your nearest running club or sports centre, they would probably know of any races in your area.0
