Just starting -- couple of Q's

I did my first session yesterday and wow, it kicked my butt! Felt like my arms were going to fall off but it's great.

With the ladders though, say for the let me ins for example (but for all the exercises), do I start with 1 then rest, 2 then rest, etc?

Due to time constraints, would it be okay to sometimes combine two of the days if I'm working different muscle groups?

You've got the right idea for the ladders. You do 1 rep and then rest the amount of time it took you to do 1 rep, do 2 reps rest the amount of time it took you to do 2 reps, etc. When you get to the point of failure you will progress back down the ladder in the same fashion.

Personally, I work out 3 days, rest 1 day, repeat, regardless of what the program says. In the beginning I felt like I would go crazy resting for 3 days a week.

I'm not really sure about combining days. Maybe someone else can chime in on this. I don't see anything inherently wrong with it since you would be working out for about 60 minutes, which seems reasonable.

    Basically, what jkirby79 said above^^^

If you have a smartphone, buy the app as that pretty much takes the guess work out of all of it.

As far as combining days, if you got it - go for it!! I am actually looking at doing a little bit of that myself here in the near future (or something similar to it). However, don't underestimate the importance of rest days.

Will share what level you are doing?

Haha, I've gone as far as doing 3 workouts in the same day once. (legs, pull, core) or twice. Especially in the undulating blocks where some workouts turn out shorter. It,s feasible, but go at your own pace, really.

Also +1 for the app. It's like 3$ and worth every penny IMO :)

I third the ap. Takes the guesswork out.

As far as combining the workouts go, I guess you could, but a big reason for why I chose this program was because I can easily fit it into my life. It is easier for me to commit to 36 minutes (with 2 mins rest in between sets, workouts with the ap take 36 mins) 4 times a week than it is for me to find 72 uninterrupted minutes. And if I did have 72 uninterrupted minutes, I'd rather fit in a run. But that's me.
