A great motivator for jumping on the wagon if struggling!

Hi had my rny just over a year ago now and the last 2 months have REALLLLLY been struggling so bad I have actually put on 10lbs! in 2 months yes I know I am ashamed... :sad:

But I have found the best motivator EVER! :bigsmile:

Bob Harpers the skinny rules book,:smile: it's like he knows me or something omg the rules are great and suit rny'ers down to the ground I am never hungry now I am so happy I have found this!

If you are struggling with regain or just off the wagon trust me this is your book! I LOVE YOU BOB H x

    Great! Haven't gained weight yet but I can see how it could happen very easily! My appetite is horrendous and my choices aren't always the best. I am going to check it out! Thanks.

    Great job, both of you. I'm just starting to work on maintenance, and regain is what worries me most. Keep teacking OP, and I'm sure you will bounce right back.

    Good for you for stopping at 10 pounds. I am almost 5 years out from my RNY. At the 2 year mark I also gained 10 pounds and lost it. It's much easier to lose 10 pounds than 50. So many of us gain a ton the further we get out from surgery. We MUST stay diligent!!

    FYI , here are the "skinny rules"
    in case anyone is wondering
    without buying the book..


    1. Drink a large glass of water BEFORE Every meal-No Excuses!

    2. Don't Drink Your Calories

    3. Eat Protien at EVERY Meal -or stay hungry & grouchy!

    4. Slash Your Intake of Refined Flours & Grains

    5. Eat 30-50 grams of FIBER per day!

    6. Eat Apples & Berries Every single day- Yes, EVERY-SINGLE-DAY!

    7. NO Carbs after Lunch ( eat 'lean & green' at night)

    8.Learn to Read Food Labels so You know what you are eating!

    9. Stop Guessing about Portion Size & Getit Right-for good!

    10. No more added sweetners-including artificial ones!

    11. Get rid of White potatoes!

    12. Make one day a week Meatless

    13. Get rid of Fast foods & fried foods

    14. Eat a REAL breakfast

    15. Make Your own food and eat at least ten meals a week at home

    16.. Banish High Salt Foods

    17. Eat Your Vegetables-(no excuses)- Just DO it!

    18.Go to bed hungry!

    19. Sleep Right

    20. Plan one splurge MEAL per week

    I do like this one except the "don't drink your calories". My daily breakfast is my protein powder in my morning cuppa.
