My post for today:
I weighed in 1 day early out of curiosity with the changes I made in calories (upped calories to 20% below TDEE) and I've lost 1.9 pounds since 2 weeks ago when I made change. So excited, if you haven't went and read post in EM2WL forum you really should. I've been considering it for a year and finally gave in and tried it after a 1 1/2 year plateau. It's hard to believe that eating more can work but it does and you feel so much better physically.
My husband is on MFP also and and I UPPED his calories as well and the scale is finally moving for him. I know it's a scary decision to make but it's worth it! As Nike says "Just Do It"

Fantastic news - a year and a half plateau is very long - but at least you didn't gain you managed to maintain. Bet you are so excited to see the scales moving again - and hubby too! Good luck with the rest of your weight loss journey.0

That's so awesome!!! Just curious, had you been in a huge calorie deficit up until EM2WL?0

I've been slowly increasing and then decreasing over all this time trying to figure out the reason for plateau. The lowest I went was around 1300 calories then went up from there, 1950 was the highest. I even tried having spike day, nothing worked. I then started noticing my sister in law started having a loss again when she was over calories. I had been reading the forums of this group for a long time just afraid to make the jump so I used my husband first as a test dummy (lol). He started losing again after several months of plateauing, so that's what made me make final decision to do it and so far so good. It's been awesome eating more, but I won't lie some days are hard to get all my calories in.0
