A small success

In yoga class Saturday morning, we were in sumo and given the option of progressing into crow pose. I've tried crow before and have almost fallen on my face, if you know the pose, there is no way your hands will help brace the fall. Anyway, I held it for only a few moments, but could feel my core tighten up and actually hold the pose and I was able to breath! It wasn't a tip up and tip back down. Felt great!!

Well done! Holding crow for the first time was a biggy for me too! I think the fantastic thing about regular practice is how once you have managed to hold an asana, it can continue to evolve. Happy yoga-ing :-)0

well done, you! nothing makes you feel more like a badass yogi than when balancing on your hands. i think i'm getting close to getting this asana but the fear of falling on my face is holding back.0

AWESOME...I used to really like crow until I saw someone actually fall hard....can't get that image out of my head. I still can do it..for a few seconds..probably milliseconds...lol. The pose I just can't let go and do is wheel! Anyone else have a panic pose?0
