Attracted to your own features?

A long time ago, someone told me that people are most attracted to their own features. For example, someone with dark hair/ dark eyes are more likely to be attracted to someone with dark hair/ eyes. A woman that has larger chests would be attracted a man with larger chest (probably not man boobs) and woman with large bottom will like the same.

Ever since then, I have always noticed that most couples really do look alike. They may not have EXACT same eye color or hair color... but most could pass for siblings. And I find that I am more attracted to women with dark features like I have. What do you guys think?

    Never has been my case.

    I have dark hair, dark eyes, tan skin.

    I am attracted to light skin. Love the contrast between my skin and white boys skin. Love the pinkness of him, and my browness lol.

    Yeah I'm with tube...If you lined up all the guys I've every slept with they have almost nothing in common physically. Theres tall one short ones,skinny ones and heavy ones....Blue eyes, green eyes and brown one too lol.....

    So I don't think so

    Hmmm. Now I am wondering if I've been telling myself that I'm into darker ladies because I heard that or because that really is what I'm attracted to.

    All of my major life crushes (which is 4) with the exception of the latest crush have had blonde hair and skinny and I have dark brown hair. But when I tell someone my ideal guy in my dreams it's tall, big with dark hair. But I think I'll end up being a cat lady anyway.

    Hmm...well I am definitely a hip, booty, leg guy. Boobs, big or small, don't get my attention like a long legged woman would. My hips, booty and legs are nothing to write home about. I do dig my eyes. I been told they are soft, and trusting. (whatever THAT means lol) Light or dark, it doesn't matter. One of the coolest eyes I seen were on a ex. It was a mix between blue and green.

    In my case it would be true.. All of my favorite things about myself are exactly what I like in guys. Watch me end up with some blue eyed blonde haired guy!

    Yes, most of my ex's have been dark hair/dark eyes OR dark hair/blue/green eyes, that tan easily. Very rare that I fancy a blonde or red haired, pale skinned guy. Although it has happened!

    And yes, my long term ex could definitely pass as my sibling.

    omg girl, this sounds exactly like me. I've never been attracted to guys that have tan skin always light skin latin men or white boys. I do love them kinda pale. lol. my ex loved my tan skin. :wink:

    For me. most of my exes have had light hair and blue or green eyes. I am attracted to guys with dark hair and dark eyes, but can't think of the last time I dated one.

    However, I've been noticing in a lot of the couple photos of my friends that they look like they could be related...like brother and sister. Very similar features!!

    I do tan some what easily but mostly lightly tanned because of where I live and my work schedule. I never had a preference when it came to skin color on women.
