OK all you diehards, are you happy with your progress, do you have to sharpen your desire to keep up with weight loss? The further along our 75 day challenge we go, the harder it gets to make goals! I know this last week I have slipped a little myself. The beginning part of the week, I didn't push my exercise routine as hard as usual, then overate on a meal or 2, so Friday, I had to step up and eat as little as I ever have and went for a long rather steep bike ride to get the goal weight achieved!
So lets keep that weight loss attitude centered in our minds eye! Focus is something that needs sharpened weekly to keep our achievement in the forefront of our desire!

I'd like to thank everyone for their support, At my buddies graduation party today a co-worker was telling his wife that I lost quite a bit of weight, but later my spouse said I don't believe you lost that much. Thanks hun, great support. But hey all you great friends who don't know me from Adam have been so wonderful and helpful in our plight, you all just mean the world to me. So Thanks! So, I guess I'll just keep up the fight and maybe someone in my family will say they are proud of my progress????0 -

I think it's hard with families because they see you every day. I had my niece's grad party on Friday and it was the people I don't see regularly who were coming up & commenting that I look great.
In the meantime I hit a major milestone this week with my weight loss. Whoo hoo! Like Kirk said we've just got to keep focus & motivation going for a couple more weeks. I'm for sure going to have to stay focused if I'm going to lose 5 more pounds.

A neighbor who I hadn't seen in many months complimented me this week on my weight loss (40 lbs since I talked to her last Fall). She was looking down at her own (very fit) body as her hands traced imaginary curves in the air while she told me how nice I was looking. I guess I'm starting to finally show some curve, which has been one of my top motivators.
I walked an Ovarian Cancer walk last Sunday for a dear, lifelong friend. I started near the front of the pack and ended almost last. It took me over an hour to finish the two miles - But I did it!
In the remaining three weeks, my goal is to keep loosing a pound a week - good eating, plenty of hydration, and moderate exercise should get me there. Lost another pound this week (more leisurely walking, lots of gardening, light yoga)! Saw slight measurement changes everywhere. Biggest change, 2nd week in a row, was my waist.
Wt - 180 (down 1 lb last week, 7 from start)
Waist - 34 (down 1" last week, 5 from start)
BMI - 30.0 (down .1 last week, 1.8 from start)0 -
American Cancer Society's Relay for Life was Friday to Saturday. I am sooooooo sore and feel quite accomplished. Our team raised close to $2000 and the event raised over $101,000!!!!!! Another success in my life.
Now, it's time to recover and get ready for my surgery on the 18th. Good luck to everyone. Work hard to reach your goals.

Congrats on all your GREAT numbers!! It's inspiring.
I'm still only 2 pounds down, net, since we started this challenge.
It has been a difficult month (was very sick for 3 weeks, just broke up with boyfriend, & tons of work stress).
So I'm relieved that my weight hasn't gone up significantly during the last month! So in that sense this e-group is keeping me accountable. We still have 3 weeks to go but losing 20 pounds in 3 weeks seems unlikely.
