Commitment MONDAY (blah) 6/10

Hey you wonderfully dedicated kids out there! What will you do today? 3 weeks to go and counting! I apologize for the following brag, but i am just so happy with myself::::: I made the 20 pound loss woo hoo yippee skippee!!!! Well within the 75 day goal. OK sorry for that I am usually not a braggard whatsoever, but I figured all my great friends out there will understand. I actually keep myself motivated by saying to myself big deal you were obese, now your just plain fat, keep working you clown!!!

Hopefully you all aren't as hard on yourselves, it doesn't do much for self image! :)

    Today is rainy here once again, it makes it hard on me who of couse is mostly an outdoors exerciser kinda guy. So hopefully the rain takes a break some time after I get home from work so I can squeeze in a hill climb.

    I did day 4, level 3 of 30 DS this morning. I'd like to get in a bike ride this afternoon or evening, but my daughter has a softball game tonight so I'm not sure that will happen. I did TERRIBLE with my eating yesterday, consuming an almost 1000 calorie burger from Red Robin, tons of steak fries with ranch dressing, and a burrito supreme from Taco Bell later in the day. It was delicious, but I'm really feeling guilty about it today. I haven't eaten like that in a really long time.

    So, it's time to shake it off and start fresh this week. I'm going to really focus on eating right, and get in as much movement as I can. I know I probably won't make the 20 pound goal by the end of this challenge, but even another 5 pound loss would make me happy!

    Today I did Tae Bo- Ultimate bootcamp for one hour, I was practically dying on the floor when it was over haha XD. It's really intense and I was drenched with sweat. If anyone wants to give Tae Bo a go, here's a link of the channel of the guy who uploads them:-

  • I'm still sooo sore from my 7 hour hike up to Wolverine peak! But I managed to get my butt out of bed and ride my bike since it's beautiful out!! So nice bike ride home then probably just relax this afternoon and watch what I eat.

    After a hopeless day yesterday I mostly pulled it back together today. Got up early & did my C25K workout, went for a walk after lunch, and mowed the lawn tonight, so it was a 19K step day. Ate within my calories and drank a lot of water today.

    Today was the first day of my kids summer break, which means that now i have to adjust my workouts to their new summer schedule. I did make it to the gym this morning for strength training and cardio. Had a great workout and came home to find them still fast asleep. ????

    Trying to convince them that we should spend some time at the roller rink this week. Now that would be a fun workout for mom!
