Ugh...don't miss the hangovers. 2 bottles of wine and a cocktail in the hot tub between my husband and me. I had plans to drink alone and watch movies tonight, but I honestly think I'll refrain. I've got 5 days of drinking coming up....

So just found out yesterday my day care is closing its doors for good next Friday. So I was doing a little stress drinking last night.

No drinks last night but kept the weekend piggie eating going. Today will be better and not planning on any drinks either. I need to lose some of the puffiness!

So a major bummer I am missing my favorite summer beer this year. Blue Moon Agave....it is delicious if you haven't tried it. My friend got the Blue Moon summer sampler this year and she said they are all great. Just in case any of you lushes want to give it a try :drinker: I think I might buy a six pack to crack open in November.

YUM! I'll have one for you.

My friend was pregnant during Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I think she bought several cases and stashed them away until post delivery.

Hey everyone, just checking in after a long absence. Has anyone ever read the book by Alan Carr about how to control your drinking? Looking for opinions, if you have read it. Cheers all, have a great week!

    That yard looks fabulous!!!

    0 Sunday
1 8 oz crisp white wine (yes, I measured) Monday
    2 Natural Lights Tuesday

This is a record low. This job is worth it, I am hoping for the long run. If not, I got a bunch of new skills to move to another DDS. But, I think they like me! LOL!

Hang in there Robin, I know it's not easy.

Had a 312, and 1.5 margaritas last night. Watching the 3 year old prohibitted me from drinking much more. As soon as I got all relaxed with my second margarita, he started crying for Mommy (overtired) so had to get him settled down. I was up too late and have a terrible headache today. Not sure why..... Not from the alcohol. It started a couple days ago.

Off to Bonnaroo tomorrow morning! I will lush it up for sure! Have a great weekend friends! Hope you all are well.

Glad the job is going well crazycat!!!!

Bummer about the headache Ashley hope it goes away soon! Have a fabulous weekend!!!!

Yesterday evening I got an email that one of our fav local beer bars had a some leftover specialty beers from some events last week so against better judgement we went. Had 1 flight and 2 small pours...so just over 2 12oz beers, not too bad but they were high in alcohol which means high in calories!

My lazy *kitten* has yet to work out this week so we will do a walk or yoga tonight then hit the gym tomorrow!

    Yaaaaaay Mama Lush!

I had a 0 Monday and since I barely slept I decided I wanted to sleep last night and had a bottle of white, spaced out though so I feel fine today. Also had some food poisoning Monday and Tuesday so there was no working out. Feeling better today though so I'll log an hour on the bike and we shall see about booze.

    Happy hump day all :flowerforyou:

In a bit of a doldrums. Sunday was the one year anniversary of my mom-in-laws death so my wife was a bit depressed. Right now her and her sister took a little trip to see another family member. So it's just me and the dogs. Fairly good company the dogs. They are good listeners.

Non productive day but did get 40 minutes of a light workout in. Leftovers for dinner will be coleslaw, salmon and turkey. Later tonight will have some raw almonds and a couple of boiler makers. Surf the net, see what is going on. Take a melatonin, fall into bed and do it all over again tomorrow.

    Fun stuff!

    Definitely sums it up....

You all and your car antics, good thing they don't have lips

Beautiful yard Ashley - all the more reason to hang outside with drinks

Mama Lush - may the force be with you

I went to the casino and packed my water bottle full of booze but it was so big that I could not discretely pour it into the glass. So, every time I wanted to fill it, I had to go to the bar and ask for soda water and then go to the bathroom to fill it up. What's a lush to do.

I am exhausted from the weekend and the parents visit. It's time to crack down on myself. Although, I did crack a nice looking bottle of pinot noir for the pot roast. Life is hard :ohwell:

I opted for bread in lieu of a glass of wine tonight. The wine would have been a better deal calorie-wise.

Wasn't planning on drinking last night but daughter invited me to a local bar up the street to play "photo hunt" and bought me a fireball whiskey shot. Never had one before, it was good. Tastes like red hots. I stopped at one...yay me!

    wooohoo mama lush!
Gary....hopefully wife is home now and you're a bit more cheered up.
Kim...I LOL'd at your post. you get lush of the month award. :drinker:

I'm finally home and so is the son so I'm a happy mama. 3 days in the car was horrible on the exercise and diet plan tho. I will be avoiding the scale for a while until I get back into the groove.
I have mounds of laundry to do...that should burn a few calories...I think the son avoided doing any the last 2 weeks of classes. The lil *kitten*.
    cheers everyone! :drinker:

I have a story about that drink. Long story - but, my husband was going to pour it into our friend's mouth while he was lying on the floor. It was a pool bet of some sort. Well, he poured it into his eye and his eye was on fire.

I am thinking that lush of the month is not a good title...

Now, I want mango martini's - Thanks, Kate - Of course, I was thinking of beer earlier after son;s ballgame so I think it's more me than you.

I have to go to the doctor and get my plantar fasciitis taken care of once and for all on Monday (shot of cortisone in the foot??) and the tube out of my ear since it's not falling out (shot of novocaine in the ear) Good times ahead....

Thanks for the well wishes. The wife got home minutes ago and she is in better spirits- hence I am in better spirits.

Double workouts for the last couple days while she was gone. Looking for results on the scale.

Syd, glad your road trip is over. Having your son home for the summer will be nice. He can help you with the gardening and housework. HA!

Robin, good luck with the better boss and the walking.
