New to BR (Again)

Hello, All.

I am new to MFP, having recently quit WW. I know I would like to eat more cleanly and naturally, so I decided that the points system, which encourages fat-free/sugar free stuff, was not for me. I started the Body Revolution last year, and within about six weeks, I had lost 22" off my body. It was amazing. Then I got sick, first with a sinus infection, then strep, then a bad bout of impetigo that literally took me months to get rid of. Then my teaching assignment changed, I took on coaching my little boy's soccer team, and with the stress and added responsibilities, I just let myself go. I gained back up to 230 lbs. I have dropped 5 of that, but I am ready to get this show back on the road. I had shared the DVD's with my sister, who lives 200 miles away. She is sending them back to me. As soon as I get them in the mail, I will re-start my body revolution.

I am 5'8", 225 lbs., 36 yo, female, with two children - a 3yo girl and a 6yo boy. I have to be able to workout at home before they wake up.

I love seeing the success stories here. I hope to be one of them in 12 weeks!

Amy

I am with you! THe stress of going back to school and changing jobs, along with a stupid case of plantar faciitis made me regain 20 pounds. Now that I finally have the p.f. under control, I'm back at it. I started on Tuesday.

I'm glad your plantar fascitis is better! I have been slowly warming myself up to the challenge of the BR. Monday, I did Jillian's 30 Day Shred. Yesterday, I am ashamed to say, I slept in. Today, I was about to do round two of the 30 DS, but I saw the ads at the beginning and remembered I had a Biggest Loser DVD I'd never tried. I popped it in (I think it's the first one they ever did), and chose the warmup, boot camp, and cool down. I liked it. I may go through that DVD's six week training session until my sister gets the BR DVD's to me.
