The switch to metric on MFP

MFP is improving their localization support - a fancy way of saying they are making changes to support both metric and imperial measurements.

What are your thoughts on the changes? Have you noticed any changes yet?

    I'm pleased, except I couldn't log my walking properly because none of the new converted speeds were slow enough lol....

    Yeah - the speeds are quite quick.

    I am wary about the change to kilojoules. It has not appeared yet but I find calroies easier as it is a smaller number to mentally total :P

    You can change it back to calories in the settings..

    It is great to have options, but I have got really used to calories now (great that we will have a choice)

    My HRM measures in calories so I'm going to keep it in calories in my settings but it is really great to see them finally add in more metric options!
