Is it normal to feel like this after exercise?

I just started the C25K program. After the first day, I made it through the exercise, feeling fine. That was Thursday evening. Friday I was fairly sore, as I expected. Saturday, I was completely and totally exhausted. I woke up early that morning to run the second time, but I just couldn't do it. I went back to bed. And I felt somewhat sick that day as well. Sunday I was feeling better and more rested, so I ran again last night. Today I'm feeling ok (but I also got to sleep in a little bit later this morning than usual).
This whole "feeling sick" after starting a workout program happens regularly with me. I start something - usually Ripped in 30 or something like that - and after a couple times I am so exhausted and sick feeling I stop doing it so I can keep up with work/kids/household duties. I fall off the wagon easily and quickly when I do not feel well. Is it normal for that feeling to happen? I am just wondering b/c I've had it happen several occasions. Is my body just getting such a "shock" from me making it exercise that this is its form of dealing/rebelling? Just wondering if anybody else has this happens or knows why it happens.

A lot of people find that they feel worse 2 days after a hard workout, that's pretty normal, but I've never heard of anyone feeling sick as well. It could just be your body's way of adjusting to a new workout. Take an extra rest day between runs if you need to and give yourself a couple of weeks to adjust. If you are still having problems you should visit your doctor, maybe you are anaemic or something.0

Ok, so this is normal? I guess that makes me feel better, but it sure doesn't make it any easier! I'd be curious to know what other people's experiences were with this type of thing and how you got past it?0

Are you eating enough? Maybe do it at a lower intensity to gain some muscle efficiencies for a week before going at it full throttle?0

Well, I think that I am. I am eating around 1700 calories a day, probably, on average. MFP wants me to only eat 1200 a day to meet my weight loss goal, but I can't seem to eat only that much. I am wondering if maybe sleep is the problem. I was supposed to run last night, but I had a horrific headache all day yesterday. Again, yesterday was the second day after I'd last ran. So last night I went to bed right after the kids, skipped the run, and today I feel great. I am going to try to go to bed an hour earlier this week and see if that will help out. I've been getting headaches for the past couple weeks, and they are so nauseating!0

Is it possible that you are not drinking enough water? Dehydration can be a major cause of headaches and more specifically migraines, which with the nausea, sounds like it might be what you're experiencing.0

Well, I have been drinking about 7 cups of water a day, on average. I think that I'm getting enough water - I will drink more water after working out on the days that I run. The headaches I'm getting are not migranes - I get migranes from time to time, and what I'm currently experiencing are different (thank God), although almost as annoying since they are fairly frequent. I just thought maybe this is my body's way of releasing toxins or something? And maybe I"m just trying to adjust to exercise?0
